That Hammerhead, the 9th discovery, has now jumped the line for follow-up or appraisal drilling strongly suggests the oil reservoir there is far larger than the rest. Moreover, that the company has decided to drill two appraisal wells simultaneously in its high-quality sandstone reservoir must mean we are eventually looking at a mega-discovery of at least a billion barrels. Guyana will know by mid-May if we have another Liza.

If I were to be somewhat optimistic I might say Unitization could conclude. Especially if you are a believer that it exists. Roll on tomorrow.

regarding the Hammerhead appraisal: Given the priority and $$ Exxon are committing to the operation I would imagine they started from a very good place!! IMO

I thought (wrongly) Spud would have been last week; However maybe they needed time to do Cargo. Read somewhere the Drill ship is circa $155000 per day! They should be operational. IMO

I am not sure but isn't there an agreement the Gov make announcement first; There was that time they announced a Exxon discovery first! Thought that was a leak but maybe not?

Regarding potential sp, think it depends when the board agree to sell I guess; My ideal scenario is cash for Guyana and keep my holding for Namibia. Fingers crossed.
