I mentioned in another post that simplistically this situation is like another Hammerhead.
I think they may have got an understanding from the Lobe complex and concluded a appraisal campaign is worthwhile probably before proceeding to Joe. So for me its about drilling not survey.
Anyway only an opinion and maybe yours is closer. ATB

M7; was thinking that myself; It might be that Lobe complex is just small-fry for QP compared with their overall business model?
Was also thinking maybe we are reading stuff in here! The drill maybe ongoing no info or issues (yes defo privilege info to QP but they are God's);But I keep coming back to that drilling extension! ATB

Just one more thing to add; I think the farm out deal from Eco to Total and subsequent deals involving Total are likely to be linked or prearranged. Just an opinion.

This is physical evidence and tells us extended drilling time and area ie 45k/Dec 2019; So Eco/Tullow would have realised this would be public information?
So no info from them atm, so still going to Joe? Another drillship? (don't think so). You know I think we deserve some info.

This QP deal is a bit above my pay grade and to be honest the deal and timing is a bit surreal.

Just noticed a mention of LNG on the other channel re global share; However could it be possible that our new partners might fund a LNG Terminal in Guyana. Prob getting carried away but there's lot's of Gas in the CPR!
ps won't matter to Eco I guess.

Can be quite complex; Just a fictitious example: A company sells part of their share say for example 15% for quite a low amount, you know about $15Million with a clause that stated if successful in the business the remaining % of the said company would be bought and the original amount realised to the full amount!! Now thats a good contract example and an opinion. GLA
