My thoughts exactly, no mention of recent investment by Yew Tree £102 M .

Q1 results were better than Aston Martin and independent Financial Analysts Consensus expectations.

Geely on board with capital and to quote RNS Geely “They offer us a deep understanding of the key strategic growth market that China represents, as well as the opportunity to access their range of technologies and components”

Ron, 100% agree ... £210 M for debt reduction and investment for the future. It seems the sensible option with great savings on our interest payments.

Looking forward to the Vantage which will be due shortly and I am sure will be another sell out to accompany the DB12.

6 Launches over 18 months and some specials also.

If L Stroll ( Yew Tree Consortium) and Shu Fu Li ( Geely) do acquire another 4% each as detailed in RNS 18 May then approximately 90% of the shares will be in the top 9 holders ( not currently including Lucid 3.7% RNS 26 June ).

Will be an interesting few months.

With DB12 going down production lines now after great reviews and Vantage launch due shortly, second half of the year looking very positive. DBS replacement and Valhalla due in 2024…. with record ASP.

It would probably be advantageous for Geely to buy their allowed 4% in the next 90 days as they won’t have to complete with Yew Tree as they can’t purchase any more till after 90 day period has passed.

Current Major Share Ownership:

Yew Tree Consortium – 21%

Public Investment Fund – 18%

Geely – 17%

Invesco – 10.2 %

Mercedes – 9.7%

As of yesterday, Geely have 90 days to purchase another 4 % to take them to a 22% ownership, after which Yew Tree Consortium can also purchase a further 4% to take their share holding to 25%. Both having agreed a Standstill at these levels until 1st August 2024 before they can purchase a greater amount unless an offer for the Company is made (Details in RNS 18TH May 23).

So we could expect Geely to be buying in the next 90 days their 4% taking them up to 22 % and Yew Tree Consortium also joining in and purchasing their 4 % limit after the 90 days taking them to 25% .

Along with the positive launch of DB12 and future models coming soon as highlighted today by Amedeo Felisa this can only add to Aston Martin Lagonda investment value.
