In the 90s when they were drilling they just didn't drill deep enough, not sure if the drills were capable at that time, plus gold was still being found not so deep, different story now, new technology, deeper drilling, new ways to mine, new team in Greatland who embraced new tec.

Same for me, sold plenty from 15p to 35p, massive gains as l only put in 30k ish, first buys at 00.60p, over 300k taken out, free ride now 1150000, now sat on hands till l decide as it is aim we are on which in my short time invested,( 7 years) l have learnt
to take all but a few on here with a pinch of salt.

Newcrest have drilled so far down that they have come out the other side, so all the gold has fell out, so that's it all gone no gold at all, we have all been sold a dud.
