Assuming we get a long-awaited broker update with the interims (due in a couple of weeks, based on previous dates), the forecasts will take into account the Jan-March production, so an explicit production update isn't really necessary. Always good to have though.

Actually, they probably are correct about the 1 billion. It's the 0.6p per share that threw me - don't they mean 0.06p per share?

Presumably the legal problem must be detailed in the last prospectus - if I was a holder (I'm not) I'd dig that out and start looking. Seems strange that the RNS basically says it's nothing to do with shareholders, while the 100M/1Bn share dump means it very much IS something to do with holders.

Presumably there's a naught in the wrong place - they must mean 100M shares. A fairly basic thing to get wrong. Maybe this robust approach to arithmetic explains why they're always approaching profitability, but never get there.

If you DID have to register pre-event, they might have mentioned it. It's the first time I've been locked out of a presentation like this. Not impressed.

Sorry, another one about how to trade these...as both brokers that I had my KRS shares with were useless with international shares, I transferred out in certificated form, got my Calidus certs and transferred those to Automic for safe keeping. I assumed that transferring from ASX online registry to a UK broker would be the easy part, but for some reason it appears not (I'm awaiting reply from ii, but as they won't transfer in foreign certs, I'm not optimistic). Is opening an account in Australia the only way to go, or does anyone know of a UK broker that will let me transfer these in?

I assume that's as far as the group's concerned, not the franchisee. Given the high upfront costs payable by the franchisee, it would be rather remarkable if the contribution to the group WASN'T profitable (for the group) from day 1. Sustainable and growing profitability may be more of an issue.

What caused it? The RNS pre-AGM last Thurs. Read it and see if you think it justifies a drop of 40%? Me neither. Actually, as the higher margin dubbing work is growing so quickly, you could argue that the market got it completely wrong.

Boyzee, I see OPTI as beneficiaries from the latest research on artificial sweeteners, in that the gut biome will hopefully get the right messages from Sweetbiotix not the wrong ones. I chatted to Christina Wood at the investor show last month about the sweeteners that are in their gofigure smoothies at the moment and that they a) make them taste vile and b) partly undo the good work that the rest of the ingredients do and she largely agreed (they're being reformulated). The link between people eating/drinking artificial sweeteners and obesity is an obvious one, cause and effect is harder to establish. I've never seen anyone lose weight by switching from sugary drinks to artificially sweetened ones though, they continue to gain weight. The sugar tax is a crazy idea, but Sweetbiotix might be a huge beneficiary if, as promised, it doesn't taste revolting and it works with the biome not against it. My only worry is their pride that it's 230 times sweeter than sugar. The over-sweet taste of sweeteners is half the problem.
