Ryan Air Simple guidelines for healthy flying
We're putting new measures in place to protect the health of our guests and our people that prevents the spread of Covid-19.
Before you fly
Check in online, download your boarding pass and where possible choose Priority & 2 Cabin Bags to keep your luggage with you.
Remember to check your temperature before travelling. It may be checked again at the airport. If you do not pass this, you will be asked to return home.
Scientific studies confirm wearing a face mask/covering at all times will trap 95% of the viral load and limit transmission.
At the airport
If you are checking a bag, use our automated kiosk and deposit your bag at the bag drop desk.
Use Fast Track where possible to limit your queuing time at security.
Make sure to use hand sanitiser or hand wash as you pass through the airport, and where possible maintain some distance from other passengers.
When boarding
Please don’t queue at boarding gates as priority passengers will be boarded first. There should be no dwelling in boarding stairwells or air bridges.
Have your passport open and scan your boarding pass to limit your contact.
Keep your face mask/covering on at all times. Our crew will also be wearing face masks.
Onboard
All our aircraft are professionally cleaned and disinfected on a daily basis which is effective for over 24 hours.
Our aircraft are fitted with state of the art air filtration systems which operate to hospital standards.
We will have a limited inflight service onboard, consisting of wrapped snacks and drinks and sales will be cashless. Queuing for toilets will not be permitted.
When you land
On arrival, please keep your face mask on until you have left the airport terminal. Try to maintain social distancing as you pass through the airport and at the baggage carousel if you are collecting a bag.
Vectura Group PLC (LON:VEC) has drawn attention to a recommendation relating to the use of one of the company’s asthma treatment formulations in Europe.
In a statement, the company noted that the European Medicines Agency's (EMA) Committee for Medicinal Products for Human Use (CHMP) has adopted a positive opinion recommending the approval of Novartis's Enerzair Breezhaler (QVM149).
Enerzair Breezhaler, which uses a formulation devised and licensed by Vectura, is a maintenance treatment for uncontrolled asthma in adult patients. Uncontrolled patients are those whose asthma is not adequately controlled with a maintenance combination of a long-acting beta2 agonist (LABA) and a high dose of an inhaled corticosteroid (ICS) who experienced one or more asthma exacerbations in the previous year.
A final decision from the European Commission regarding the grant of a marketing authorisation is expected to be received roughly two months after a CHMP opinion. Upon European regulatory approval, Vectura will be eligible to receive a US$5.0 million milestone and thereafter a low-single-digit royalty on net sales.

Ryanair will offer 40% of flights from July 1 as it resumes summer travel in expectation of coronavirus restrictions easing. It plans to offer flights on most routes but at reduced frequency.
Ryanair may make the largest return of major European airlines.
British Airways and Iberia owner IAG planned to offer 45% of capacity during the summer. But that is being re-evaluated after the U.K’s 14-day quarantine announcement.

Lufthansa will detail plans this week for the 160 aircraft it will fly from June, accounting for 21% of its passenger aircraft. EasyJet is still finalizing plans.
Air France-KLM was planning a smaller return with about 20% of capacity. But the group does not want to cede marketshare.
“Our intent is to operate at the same relative level as our competitors,” Air France-KLM Group CEO Benjamin Smith told investors last week.

Ryanair's CEO Eddie Wilson said:
"It is important for our customers and our people that we return to some normal schedules from 1 July onwards. Governments around Europe have implemented a 4 month lockdown to limit the spread of the Covid-19 virus. After 4 months, it is time to get Europe flying again so we can reunite friends and families, allow people to return to work, and restart Europe's tourism industry, which provides so many millions of jobs.
Ryanair will work closely with public health authorities to ensure that these flights comply, where possible, with effective measures to limit the spread of Covid-19. As already shown in Asia, temperature checks and face masks/coverings are the most effective way to achieve this on short haul (1 hour) within Europe's single market.
Now that Europe's States are allowing some gradual return to normal life, we expect this will evolve over the coming weeks and months. With more than 6 weeks to go to 1st July, Ryanair believes this is the most practical date to resume normal flight schedules, so that we can allow friends and families to reunite, commuters to go back to work, and allow those tourism based economies such as Spain, Portugal, Italy, Greece, France and others, to recover what is left of this year's tourism season.
Ryanair resuming 40% of flights from July - but you have to wear face mask
Surely in these hard times it will be an idea for companies to reinstate or pay there dividends in
shares (stock payments ) that way they can conserves / Reserves there cash
i assume some investors already have dividends repurchase
programs
but for those who are dependent on the dividends income they can get some stocks
personally i think its a better way to go then NOT PAYING ANY DIVIDENDS

Boris Johnson speech: PM announces first easing of lockdown and sets out three-step plan
Boris Johnson has announced the first easing of lockdown rules, including unlimited exercise, sports and getting back to work.
Speaking in an address to the nation, Mr Johnson said the public had put up with restrictions “never seen before in peace or war” but they would now begin to be eased.
Phase two of the lockdown easing will continue with a “phase two”, beginning next month and including primary students going back to school and some shops re-opening.
Phase three, beginning in July at the earliest, could see hospitality firms open their doors for the first time since March.
Mr Johnson thanked the public for their “patience and common sense” and revealed the Government’s new slogan: “Stay alert, control the virus and save lives.”
