The latest Investing Matters Podcast with Jean Roche, Co-Manager of Schroder UK Mid Cap Investment Trust has just been released. Listen here.
As a LTH I can`t see the problem, ok the SP is drifting a bit, that's AIM for you in a news void, all that will change next year, that's what im here for. Why would over £20m been raised for the development of the assets by UJO and its partners if theres nothing there to develop ? Some people just need to chill, soak up a bit of festive spirit and watch their investment grow, and if DB is reading this Merry Christmas mate, keep up the good work, I for one can see past the end of my nose.
£20m + ready for development of WN by UJO and its partners, ever wondered why ?
you don't commit that sort of money for no reason at all, or perhaps im dreaming all this and all the experts are wrong ? 2020 we will kick on, patience is the key, it doesn't happen over night.
If ive got to sit on these for 12-24 months who cares, its all part of investing at a low price. It will come good in the end. Frustrating for the impatient, or folks that have gone long I know, but people have different end games.
Cracking news, and fully funded to go forward with our partners price could have been higher, but that's the market we are trading in, you can`t stop leaks, you can`t stop traders trading, you either opt in and go for the ride or clear off and cry over spilt milk in 12 months time. The projects UJO have on their books have serious upside, and time will be the winner with that one. Sit tight and watch this develop, im certainly looking forward to it. Been here for a while with an average of 0.009 and not leaving any time soon. Filter out the white noise and do your own very comprehensive research, theres plenty out there.
Oiler, chill out, put these short term AIM wobbles to bed. Invest for the future, that's where the big bucks are with this one. Nobody likes whats going on at the moment, but you can bet your bottom dollar that there is frantic paddling going on under the water for the future benefit of the company and shareholders.
Mr Bramhill said in one of his earlier interviews, it could have been with pro-active after the west Newton discovery that this has the potential to be a 3-4p share. Now I don't think he puts that sort of statement out without thinking about it first, I know he was very excited, and having a bit of detail in the background that we just are not party to. This will be a slow burner for long term holders, sit and hold. Let the traders trade and sell and buy on the spikes and drops, that's what they do, its the AIM market at the end of the day, the proverbial casino, its grand national week and our each way bet is on a good looking outsider that likes the ground.

Realistically over the next 12-18 months where could the SP go. I know that DB on one of his earlier interviews let slip that he thought we could be a 3-4p company. I guess if WN is proven up and sold, Biscathorpe comes in to his hopes, and Wressle production is approved it could be pushing 2.5p+
Tell what I did find unusual, the fact that DB said they were willing to commit 50% of proceedings to a future dividend for shareholders, that is potentially a lot of money and a big percentage thinking of future development requirements.
I always read with interest what straight talker says about WN being sold because we dont have the resources to developed it to it's full potential. The money would be pumped into Biscathorpe to developed something that could be bigger than WN, so on that front, would Biscathorpe also be sold to the highest bidder if successful ?
For all the people claiming to be LTHs, surely you must have sussed out by now the DB doesn't pull the strings with the news flow, and updates, that's up to the operator, its then flowed down to the partners. Take a chill pill, if its that painful turn things off for a while and come back in a month or so. Investing is just that !!
Not too bothered about these minor lumps and bumps in the SP, typical AIM in a news vacuum, seen it countless times. Most LTHs will be in this for the end games being played out next year, not whats happening today...oh well back on our heads
