Looking at the numbers people are fairly reluctant to use the LFTs while they are free, start to charge and they will be history.

One good thing that has come out of this , apparently now all we have to do is apologise for breaching covid rules and regulations, makes the job of the police a lot easier.

It's open to abuse though isn't it, you can get the LFT and throw it in the bin if you want and just register the result as negative if you choose, not something I would do, but it will happen a lot.

I was at Wembley last week for the Scotland game, entry was by negative LFT test taken in the previous 48hrs or proof of 2 jabs, the second one administered at least 2 weeks previous. The infection rates coming back from these test events are very low.

My sons senior school now do weekly PCR testing as it's more accurate than the LFT tests, strange world.

My sons at senior school and is tested twice a week with these tests, if any of the kids tests positive they retest with another LFT, if that also shows positive they then have to go for a PCR test, if that's positive their half of the year group is sent home to isolate for 10 days, its happened twice since christmas, Wednesday and Sunday are test days, you are just waiting for the dreaded email from the school the next day, it's not good.

Just been listening to the news about the number of wales fans that have travelled to Baku for their Euro game today, and how they would all have to isolate when they return, do Gov.uk actually think that will happen, very naive if they do.
