No ones going to be buying these shares whilst 5% of the company is on the offer !
Many thanks poortiming
Well I clearly don't understand then how it all works because how I see it is.
If I had 20000 options at £1.10 and the strike cash price is £1.40 I would benefit by 30P per share giving me a total of £6000 .If then I was to take all of that money in shares it would be 6000÷1.40 = 4285 not 2091.
Where am I going wrong ?
Well it looks like one of the directors took some of his entitlement in cash rather than buying the full amount in shares .It would appear that Mr Moxon took half in cash and the other half in shares .
One of the non exec directors selling and taking 30P what a great vote of confidence that is !
The worrying thing is JtSouthern seems to know what they are talking about .It's all too technical for me to understand apart from if what he/she is saying is accurate and correct we may have a problem here getting anyone on board on favourable terms.
My theory on that is the buyer is no fool and most certainly has not been had but assured by Benitz the Farm Out is very likely or will take place in Q1/Q2 of 2022 trying buying 500K of shares in a illiquid market if the the sp was 90P you wouldn't average 140P for certain. If you think a FO is coming this side of Christmas you better think again imo it's most certainly not.
My thinking is there may be no news of any farm out until next year .Think about it the 110P options didn't expire until 30.11.21 so if a fo announcement was imminent wait until after then the employees and directors would benefit from a far higher share price giving employees more cash and directors more shares .But instead they choose to cash them in at 140P now why because they don't expect the sp to be above 110P come the end of November meaning staff don't get their cash and the directors don't get their free shares .Why don't they think the sp will be above 110P because they will have to issue guidance on the Farm out process if it is delayed into 2022 and that will have a material impact on the sp in the short term .
All imo dyor good luck all.
Abatt1 they made the decision to sell for 30P they obviously are not very confident of a positive outcome here.
Absolute joke I doubt the JOG team would be cashing in their shares if there was anything material on the horizon.
They are either stupid or AB gas been talking BS all year !
BOD have kept their shares its the staff that have cashed in .
What's happened everyone bar the directors cashing in for 30P a share ? That's a sure as anything sign there won't be any farm out or anything else for that matter ???
Many Thanks for the info regarding AJ Bell dickupham hope you're feeling ok have a good day all.
I don't think it's RL it's 31K too many but it's bang on to the exact amount AJ Bell hold .So if the beneficiary of that holding was just 1 private shareholder then that's the answer they've sold the lot for 140P and got a very good price for that amount .Let's hope the buyer is a significant link in the Farm out .
Hi Robsroom if there is a directors shareholding rns on Monday to say RL has sold all his shares at 140P I think its fair to say we could be in a spot of bother and that poster who said a quid by Friday will only have been 1 trading day out !!
The buyer could be infrastructure funds investing in JOG as a sweetener as PC01 posted on Friday at 3:25 at 3:45 they might have done ! The TR1 next week will be very interesting could be JOGS farm out partner or Griffiths buying back in for a quick buck !who knows .
Don't think so how many more times the trades were neither a sell or a buy they were BOTH so the share price will only be dictated by either news or supply and demand
The market makers are not holding those shares they've been sold and bought at 140 off the order book .I'm not interested who the seller is but the buyer could be very interesting we should find out next week as a TR1 will be required as the trades equated to 3.3% of the issued share capital .
I think someone's sold 1058764 shares at 140P and someone's bought them as they are off book trades a transaction between 2 parties off the book it shouldn't effect the sp on Monday unless everyone continues to sell as they have been doing all week !
Hi there Alibro there are 2 late reported trades at 15:46 1 × 500,000 and 1x 558764 both at 140P this is 3.3% of the issued share capital AJ Bell hold 3.3% so they could have dumped their holdings. This is not looking very good all of a sudden !
Ouch someone's dumped over a million at 140P that is bad news !
