I added a fair bit more following the pullback though I am scaling back my pf in general - it's done well but fancy a break and volatility this week a good reminder
After a good run.
You said suspended today! hmmm
Can hardly say Smelly's been wrong - it's a year on and you're all saying the same thing. But hes saying financing won't happen and you're saying it will - that's already been proved right for Smelly cos you were all saying the same thing a year ago.
This board is in a time warp!
If someone is gonna bid now's a decent time as expectations must be relatively low to what they were post these results and maye patient capital will make a decent return that the stockmarket isn't willing to pay for right now.
Thanks, lets hope he just sells the lot then haha. It was trading at 75% of NAV pre covid/disappointments which would be about 75p v today's NAV.
Savaloy - so you don't think they'd be a takeover target?
more I suspect that the GIC Singapore lockup is ending and they keep selling at a big discount. I had originally from about 37 to 62 ish and been in and out a few times since, last was just before divi sold 83 having bought at 75 post last placing
also waiting :)
Never mind putting 20k in how has he spent £500k raising funds. 22% comission !
yes although not having access to analyst reports I don't know how that compares to expectations. It has ticked back up though. given where the water utilities are trading it still looks decent value although unusual for me to hold a stock at all time highs
Most of the XTR value is for Bushranger though..
Kefi sounds no more imminent than it did last year
Yeah pigs at the trough but bought at 1.44, seems decent risk reward with the 1p div and no stamp duty
Yeah I was told I was deramping for saying they were poor....am I to blame for drift in last week too ? :)
JTB no self pity from me just a warning last week
I don't use it but i note what the companies say. but it's a low confidence decision from me, purely as I'm breakeven so not on a massive loss and I know myself well enough that if the share price drifts down 10% I'd still want to sell for this reason
If there's no placing it will do very well so i'm not fully comfortable selling either.
I sold as I'm worried they may use the wage rise as an excuse to say there are no longer funded, but i was in at about 8.7 so breakeven basically. It's only a c.55% level of confidence so I could definitely be wrong. Their twitter also gone quiet which is part of that consideration.
I know what you've told me. I clarified I was wrong on AGM but in fact someone else posted that they stopped taking qs on Fri then posted these poor results today so even that wasn't far off! And it's not for starters, it's the only thing and I confirmed I was wrong and apologised because unlike you I have no agenda.
Which half truths?
I had the foresight to sell at double today's price so whilst I don't care if you listen to me, perhaps you should, as it seems I have a better understanding
The fact I have no skin in the game suggests my opinion is probably more objective than yours
And Parkboy, I did. c.£30k at 0.4 sold at an avg 0f 1.55. Most of it came from Ormonde, if you care to go back to that you'll see I had c0.7% of the co when it was in the 0.7p range last year.
Hardy - because unfortunately some like you can't say yeah fiar point but respond with deramper/great results etc instead, and I will always answer posts like that
I'm a full time investor for the last year, made £95k on this alone, so have the time to indulge myself :)
