I only wonder if it'll not end up with simply Phoenix having nicely increased their holding in SG at this price and it'll remain on the Exchange... They paid 2.5p to get involved why not take another lot of shares at this price...
I didn't see any point to comment before because nothing that would change. Nor I see now... I simply agree with you, Pearls. I'd say that your reasonings about SG over time were correct... but - like I suggested in one of my posts sometimes it just isn't good enough. Now we know why this share never appreciated on any good news... It wasn't supposed to. Also explains the last tree shake. IMO. Huge disappointment and a very sad case.
It’s all self-explanatory anyway.
What they’ve bought so far is still less than 2 million dollars.
The share price used to act better and at higher levels after finds like these. Must be therefore seriously undervalued, I think.
Only on the face of it, since the asking price is 1.6p now… which it is what it is.
Let's hope, Pearls, that one of those few bounces will have a permanent nature.
Like I said before should we vote in favour of ALL the resolutions… or what is it that something doesn’t simply work when diamond prices have been up and up (Someone selling diamonds in coffee shops - as I’ve seen people doing business in restaurants). Everyone would have expected a good return here; not your investments being killed. Or at last can someone sort things out and make investing in shares to be available for institutions and funds only .
If you bear in mind that one of the characteristics of stock exchanges is that their mechanisms are rather set up against you - it's nothing unusual.
I can’t wait to see 0.5p- simply because it’s rather boring . But with such big sales like 621 sold I doubt if it’ll drop even to 1.00…
Probably later.
It has been planned to commence Showpiece marketplace before June but no update yet. In my view it could be partly explain the drop. Some positive news about it should be issued any day now.
Speaking of desperation I am mentally prepared to see the price drop to this 0.5p because clearly someone is desperate to keep walking this share down (possibly before any next RNS?). After that it will sharply rise again.
2 good posts again from you, Paerls. What is it else to say. I have amassed some reasonable amount of shares so unless it goes lower, much lover, probably I will not buy more; instead - funds permitted- I’ll be interested to buy some fractions in Showpiece. Both for the Shares and Showpiece investors I can see only the upside. But time will tell as in every kind of investment. But I can’t help thinking that the market is doing every effort to nail this share down to every next bottom. But if that’s really the case, it’ll end up in even more spectacular returns!
I was trying to find something like the link you posted. I wouldn't expect every item to be priced at let's say... £1 million, for an argument sake. So "the Queen" presented there was sold for £352,800 which isn't bad at all, is it? - The estimate was £70,000-100,000. It looks rather encouraging and positive to me.
To me it tells that pieces of art may have their periods of hibernation but their directions in terms of value will always be upward. SG? - They much involved I should say. It looks like a good timing for the "Lady" on Showpiece, too!
Far from selling now, Greeno… - Dear all, please do not leave your shares unvoted. The market capitalisation is ridiculously low that's why I will not be in favour of all the resolutions. Yearly increase of diamond prices and value from 1960 to 2019 is +14.47%. Just to compare: In 18 March 2014 full results the revenue was 212.8, the share price was 169p. Last year revenue: 201.8. Unless you're really a day trader (if I may put it this way at all), do cast your votes. It all may matter- you never know.
A nice surprise for the weekend! That can explain some heavier trades today. I’m not too sure now if the share price will stay under 2p for much longer… However long it takes, things are progressing.
Something good may be coming… even Showpiece trading platform should commence soon. But the share price here is a different thing.
Yeah, I know that they can ‘t pay dividends now… Sorry, I meant if Phoenix cancelled the debt, just like Pearls said in one of his posts…
If the accounting you're presenting is the case, wouldn't it still be a better deal for them if the share price goes up to, let's say, 8p? No debt and the company even able to pay dividend?
