MadasaHat, fair point, but I'd like to think that FM trusts YD not to sell any volume at this low price.
It could be another major player selling down IMO eg tame seller, MM, shorter, etc
I do know this tho - it's bloody frustrating!! ;-(
"The shares issued to Yellow Dragon are subject to a 6 month lock-in arrangement and a further 6 month orderly market arrangement which are subject to certain exceptions and may otherwise only be waived with the consent of the Company's brokers."

"On Wednesday night, UCT professor Anton Eberhard, a member of President Cyril Ramaphosa's task team on Eskom, tweeted that cabinet approved the Integrated Resource Plan and that it will likely be gazetted on Friday.
The IRP will outline details on SA's future energy mix, and could include the decommissioning of coal power stations and the growth of renewable energy. It is expected to be based, largely, on a draft plan published for comment in 2018"

Ol' Gweedy is on message again in this latest article.
Excerpts:
"Wind energy can be a massive game-changer, as recently reported by sector experts. The Southern African Development Community (SADC) alone has the potential to build 18 GW of wind by 2030, the Global Wind Energy Council (GWEC) estimates. This is a third of the region’s current power pool."
"SADC’s wind energy manufacturing potential goes beyond producing towers, components and blades. There is a massive opportunity in developing an energy storage industry, too. An added benefit is that it will, directly and indirectly, boost other key sectors such as mining, a key economic driver across Africa.
“With our abundant platinum and other mineral resources including rare earth elements, we must invest in research and development programmes based on hydrogen fuel cells, and battery storage, amongst others,” Mantashe said."
(NB The Southern African Development Community (SADC) is an inter-governmental organization headquartered in Gaborone, Botswana. Its goal is to further socio-economic cooperation and integration as well as political and security cooperation among 16 southern African countries.)

Gweedy Mantashe has said that the IRP is due to go before the SA Cabinet today for approval, and here is a quote from Mantashe re: battery storage:
"... and when it came to renewable energy, it was critical to invest in battery storage as well."

Another novel invention but this one generates light from darkness. It’s at a very early stage and I don’t see it becoming massively useful for many years, if at all. But it’s an interesting read:
