CHRl55. I personally think either a late special dividend in December or next March but the way the SP is rocketing I am not too concerned about dividends at the moment.
DEUTSCHE BANK RAISES STAGECOACH PRICE TARGET TO 98 (86) PENCE - 'BUY'
CHRI55 looks like your prayers may be answered and your stocks being sold at £1 today. You also say you may buy back in in the future at what sort of price £1.30 or £1.50 maybe ?
That is Rotala not Stagecoach of course
Its on my watch list but the big spread puts me off at the moment
Barny-B You posted the message bellow on here on the 5th of August
All the bad news is out now... remaining furloughed drivers have been brought back, footfall and income gradually rising each week, schools returning at end of month.... only way is up now... topped up my share isa yesterday with stagecoach shares....just wish I had more cash... " The Only Way Is Up Now " I take it you sold out and are now regretting it
Barney empty buses bobbing up and down in the countryside, if you didn't notice we are in lockdown. Even in London we are only meant to take a maximum of 30 passengers so it is hardly surprising but things will start to get better very soon. I look forward to Boris's announcement on Monday.
Your not wrong
School kids should return on the 8th of March and i think normal loadings will resume soon after that when the over 50s have been vaccinated which should spike the SP again and next year a return of the dividend should bring our SP back to near pre-covid levels. Its all looking very nice indeed. DYOR etc...
Panderman Every little helps
So you are all buying these shares because the company has 1.3 million pounds to buy into a green company and haven't brought into a single one yet
Primetime51 I work for them in SE London. TFL contracts so we don't get paid by the passengers but TFL itself by winning the tenders which means passenger numbers don't matter so much. As far as I know our regional garages are still being helped by government grants, maybe a member of staff from one of them can confirm this. Now the vaccines are out it's all a matter of patience waiting for things to return back to normal.
Yes castle 2012 I agree with you. I have worked for them as a bus driver for 20 years come October and filled my boots up with these and have an average of 59p. Come summer I would expect to see at least 100pc profit. Happy days
Don't let us stop you selling if that's what you want to do
And that is why I drive a bus and am not a broker. But I don't change my tune every other week.
My God she is back again. LOL
You posted the messages below earlier in December
dont buy now, wait for the price to reset to the 60's, then yes buy and sit on till 2022 when the UK economy will start to recover
Please save yourselves, if you are in profit get out and wait to get back in when the price is cheaper.
I don't think we will see 79p again in my lifetime unless someone declares WW3 this is only going north from now on.
If you wait too long you will miss the bus excuse the pun. These shares have already gone up 100pc in 6 weeks so I wouldn't hang about to long if I was you.
Not a bad day at the office 3.67 pc up. After Christmas we should see the death and infection rates greatly decrease as the quarantine and more importantly vaccines start to kick in. I am hoping a steady increase with our SP as the numbers of infections decline and a sharp spike when we announce we are going back to normal full loadings and again when we bring back our dividends. GLA and remember. DYOR.
