BEV's are fine for city only drivers, but as soon as you need a heavyweight or long distance vehicle, you a left with hydrogen. In my view its a major part of the solution and with faster fuel cell manufacturing, the costs of the vehicles are plummeting. See James May video on YouTube.
The vehicles are there, the refuelling tech is there, the hydrogen electrolyser tech is there. All we need is a little surplus energy and the fuel pumps. I would buy an HFCEV tomorrow if there was a Hydrogen pump in Norwich.
