Depends what chart you're looking at. YTD isn't brilliant, but 1y chart is fine in my view and the 6 month indicates granite consolidation at the current level.

No, that isn't what I said. I said if a ICE car has already been manufactured and works, it is better to run that until the end of its life than to scrap it and buy a new BEV. All the metal, glass, rubber, plastic and other materials have a hugely higher footprint than the fuel and I stand by that. When my current ICE engine in my daily vehicle fails, I would replace it with an electric alternative if one is available, but I would like that to be an HFCEV, not a BEV.

However, once again, you spoil what could be an interesting and well mannered debate by calling me a moron, so I've reported that post too. Sadly this whole thread will soon be lost for that reason. Perhaps that is your aim.

Just bought in at a low level as a starter position. Looks like several attempts have been made recently to break 12p and hold but failed. The chart looks more bullish this time and I expect we will see the 52W high taken out this week.

Fuel cell production costs are plummeting as new exhcange membranes are being developed and are massively faster to produce. Seconds as opposed to minutes. Hydrogen will also become cheaper as its scaled, as everything else does. Batteries still remain a filthy energy store, not necessarily in the method of filling them with electricity, but by their production. It also still remains to be the case, and will be for a very long time that it is also much more environmentally friendly to continue using an ICE vehicle which has already been manufactured than it is to tear it down and build another. The biggest use of CO2 in a vehicle is not its fuel, but its manufacture. Changing the fuel will not change that.

I disagree. Croatia et al, the important bit with the MDC's is not the power generation, but the marketing potential. Acquiring the plants and their financial closures should be plenty to get a lot or movement. Volume yesterday was huge.

I took a quick 10% on a trade at PHE the other day. It would have been 30% today but I just didn't want to risk it for that long. I can see it slipping again shortly.

Rendj, North Fork will be the 3rd I suspect. It would make sense to have one over that side, since they're fairly intent on ramping up sales in the USA.

I guess they'd be buying a project like that for its finalised planning and the site, more than the existing tech. I'd imagine they'd strip it, bin it and start again. Having the pre-existing planning to operate the plant would be a bonus though and certainly a short-cut to a larger project.

It needs a government incentive to get the pumps onto forecourts. Repayable loans to the franchisees which can be repaid based on how much the pumps supply or something.
