are they back to work again post the Govt shutdown ? Beginning in October, ARB will issue compliance credits on every second and fourth Wednesday of every month, so 9th and 23rd October

thanks makes sense - & I literally just got the circular from my broker with the updated timetable/details etc...v nice to finally have this work out & perhaps some kind of reality check on the stubb/core valuation of the company, which to me simply becomes an option on solar....& not a bad one either...

someone just paid 5.95 for 83k v the 5.75 offer (admittedly only for 20k)....interesting if it is being held down (thinking aloud) for directors to try & buy....hmmmm

I mentioned a few days ago about the directors being unable to buy & perhaps being frustrated to see the price rises recently...now the interims our out & they've out of closed period, maybe they will take advantage of this weakness. If so, it would be a major further endorsement. It also could explain any additional difficulty to buy in the mkt

just paid 5.6 for 90k.....it's 5.26 bid out there & nothing on offer, I am averaging up....fortunate to have bought much lower...so risk profile is acceptable for me to add on this near halving from the highs last week....

Although they've made serious hay so far by buying earlier close to the lows, I would assume they would love to have bought more & have been unable to while the co was in closed period....interesting to see if they buy on Monday once the interims are out

Silence Therapeutics plc will announce its unaudited interim results for the six months to 30 June on Monday 23^rd September. unless maybe they get released at midday ?

the 1 Code is a new one to me also - how can u tell it's there, I'm looking on Bloomberg but can't see anything on the order book....please advise, sounds potentially v useful in stocks where u may be expecting news to come out

tough to know if this is just to shakeout recent buyers or something else ahead of AGM tomorrow....net net v little volume for a 14% selloff

I think possibly as it's incorporated in Jersey ? Unlike with UK companies where 0.5% tax is levied on the purchase of shares in UK companies,there is no stamp duty or similar taxes are payable on the issue or transfer of a Jersey company’s shares

AGM is 17th Sep - think u have to almost ignore the recent big move up in % terms - ultimately there's likely to be a reality check here & at that time the stock might be 10p to start, a big holder exited & that in part drove it down & the -ve sentiment on green/carbon etc - the co is in a much stronger position now with some businesses actually making money...the recent director buys below 2p could end up being legendary....60p is a long way off probably, the company isn't the same as it was then & I doubt anyone has a clear grasp on what's under the bonnet now - I can't pretend to, other than to recognize that it could be a complete game changer, especially once we get the next set of clean earnings to review
