Looks quite undervalued having gone through the 2024 results and some of their announcements. 61k boepd, debt restructure and newish ceo. Might be worth a punt.

Having read about the issues they have had operating where they do, makes me appreciate the stable and safe environment we have in the Falklands. Hopefully we follow a similar trajectory to production and then subsequently don’t sh*t the bed!

Pragmatism has given way to signalling virtue. Having Ed Milliband as energy secretary is quite ludicrous in my opinion however well intentioned he may be.

Frankly the world would be a better place if no fossil fuels were needed, however they are the foundation on which everything we have is built at present and will be for the foreseeable. Putting fingers in years, heads in sand and pretending anything else is deluded.

Until there is a viable renewable replacement for travel, logistics, plastic, gas, pretty much everything in society, surely it’s a better solution to have oil and gas independence and to not greenwash buying fossil fuels from dirty producers and rogue states.
