Hargreaves and lansdown,
Looks like I sold my shares twice ?
First time I tried to sell it looked to all purpose like nothing happened ,
No change in share number or email.
Tried again later this time the shares allocated changed to correct numbers.
This evening I have minus shares and a lot of cash.
I’m not a shorter and expect a bounce tomorrow.
I’m I about to be a accidental shorter and pay a big price tomorrow?
I will be looking to close if it is a short but a genuinely thought you had to have a special account to short sell?
The website was not working well today , so who’s error is this , mine or h+l ?
The massive drop is because the way the news was shared presented itself as job done , we have nailed it . This presentation method effectively told the minds of all (90% at least) that it’s game over( if your a covid stock and not the one with the vaccine).
If it’s not true they should be in jail very shortly for market corruption.
I’m out as a result of it.
Knee jerk - yes
Protecting gains and capital - yes
Will I be back maybe .
If your still in by luck or judgement good luck to you.
I like many others may be back.
But that was presented by the mainstream media as job done.
It’s probably not “over” but after a period of reflection the game will have changed.
The thing I remembered after my knee jerk ( some context - your in work , working , you see a news headline, you have to be in a meeting in 5 min..... what you going to do.?)
Is that SNG are already funded, and they have a product that will be worth a lot someday .
Depends when you have to close the short!
Not my scene but if you were brave you might say this looks like a pump from a new broker before a placing.....which could drop in the price to suit a short. As I said not my scene but new brokers come for a reason.
I agree other countries use will force the U.K. hand.
The U.K. is acting if there is nothing to do but wait for a vaccine . Wash your hands and were a mask and destroy business whilst pretending the virus doesn’t spread in education and work settings .
One email sent to every nhs trust and then every doctors practice in the trust from the government would have got the home trial filled.
Another email to everyone emailed with a covid positive test explaining their options to join trials would also have helped,
So two things that could have helped more than likely have not happened, U.K. treatment advice to the general government seems to be nothing more than a patronising message about distance, hand washing and masks . I believe in SNG but have a worry we cannot really on certain governments to put aside their ambitions and friends drug research and companies to look at the sng results and go we should be all over this before someone else pinches it from under us
I’d say the U.K. government is not behind it. There is many on here who think the government has a code of ethics so it won’t talk about un approved drugs. They are more than happy to speak about un approved vaccines thought. SNG definitely have the right drug what they are struggling with is not having the right ear to whisper in. I wouldn’t be surprised if approval came from a non us/uk/ euro country first .
Manufacturing capacity and actual sales are very different things. RM is stating the ability to scale. Someone still has to buy them. Don’t mix sales with capacity. The managed access platform is not the same thing as a wholesale channel to market.
Thanks Dave , that’s quite interesting, looks like SNG will be in this “trial” platform for a while then as this addresses getting access to drugs whilst commercial types are playing at alpha male during negotiation and others are arguing about the font used on the packaging...... glad to see something that bypasses that and gets it to the sick.
Who foots the bill for drug use, Given doctors can request access to the drug on compassionate grounds as there is no regulated drug available who picks up the tab? SNG or health care provider?
Trying to understand how close to approval being on this trial is.
Because regulatory bodies have told them the dataset is not big enough to get approval and no big pharma has come waving a blank Cheque so SNG have had to find there own way forward. This looks like a global trial system. Would still imagine you need the country based approval to trial in a particular country though.
What this should do if advertised properly is get trial data quick due to access to bigger pool of patients.
So yes this is a way forward but it is a scenario many investors and probably SNG themselves wouldn’t have envisioned taking some months ago.
I wouldn’t be surprised if the 6 months results are late as SNG may have a bit of an issue here. They have to reveal what they have spent money And where income has come in on but that may be all a bit NDA.
So it’s feasible that this RNS will not tell us much at all , on the whole I suspect they would prefer to not have to do it all And will treat it as business as usual.
