Share price dropping at a significant rate on knots.Seems all those weblinks to windfarms being created do sweet FA for the share price after all; who'd have thunk it!
So is that another company coming here for UK taxpayer funded grants, and taking the money from UK energy payers to their own country. See Siemans, Ørsted etc...
Quite why the govt are letting in a Chinese company, when British people are more than capable of manufacturing windmills, which are not at all complex.
The windmills are predominantly made in the Middle East, using cheap Indian labour and cheap Chinese steel (they use coal powered power plants)
Then shipped to Vlissingen, Holland to be repaired by hundreds of Brits/Europeans, as they're always jerry-built, and then shipped into the North Sea.
Not sure if Harl would ever get a worthwhile look in, as the global energy companies putting them in the N Sea could not care less about British jobs.
Crikey a link to Zerohedge and the hope of warmongering, is whats deemed good news for Harl!
INFA was high risk for a potential multibag 3.5 years ago when i put my money in, as of 14/12/21 there is more chance of this share price going to 0p than there is of it multi-bagging.
I laugh at JW's comments about how his holding us under water, i wouldn't be too bothered about my holding being underwater if i could award myself huge bonuses for spending other peoples money and getting no new notable contracts.
He bought H&W because it was close by to IM!
Should have just waited to get permits for IM then sold it, leaving shareholders with a substantial gain, but that wouldn't have been so profitable for him and Arun.
One thing we can be certain of, is they wont be paying themselves in share options.
Pair of self serving barstewards, but you have to take your hat off to them for enriching themselves in plain sight of us mugs.
From what i can see they've managed 1 contract of note, which was already agreed by the insolvent company they bought.
I remember a long time ago people on here boasting about how much their share holdings was worth, well i will go first on boasting how much i am down.
Total invested = £7732.40
Current Value = £3164.5
Current Loss = £4567.88
-59.07%
I can make that back with a couple of weeks work, i do hope other people have not lost more than they can afford, as i just see this company as a vehicle for enriching JW and his mate, for as long as they can keep the plates spinning.
If people like me didn't invest in this company a few years too early, there would be no company for you to invest in.
Only on LSE boards could i come across someone who knows the perfect time to invest.
£4 a share and special dividends!
I'm down by about 50% and i'd say there is much more chance of being down 100% in a years time than this has of being a 20 bagger ++ in 2025.
Its the company that always has a contract just around the corner.
I don't suppose they do, as even if you stop posting incessantly its more than likely the share price will continue to fall .
A more apt correlation would be between how much John Wood and Arun Raman's bank balances rise and how much the share price falls.
Stokey the more you posts reasons why this share price should go up, the more it goes down.
From memory, he bought £35,000 approx not long after joining INFA, and the couple of small amounts recently.
That doesnt come anywhere near £350k.
Though i'm happy to be corrected.
Thats a pity he cant buy another couple of grands worth of share, would make all the difference.
Though obviously the fact you cant remember where, when its just a couple of weeks since he last bought shows, you're probably incorrect.
So when companies like BP are around 300p, Vodafone are 117p, why would you stick any more into JW's pocket?
The money i put into this company was a punt, and whilst i'm about 55% down, i'll leave the money here, on the premise that Poots isn't stupid enough to let INFA go out of business by failing to allow them to build some caverns that no one will see, and allowing some salt to be pumped into the sea. (really is a special kind of NIMBY over there in NI)
That youtube video below showed the ignorance and stupidity of the NI politicians who are of the breed that are 100% taken in by the global warming scam and were seemingly against this project. This ilk are almost stupid enough to believe they can keep the standard of living they believe they deserve by harnessing the wind that unicorns make when flapping their wings.
Pity i stuck several grand into INFA and into Northern Ireland as i'd have had more to put in Gazprom and Russia, such is my faith in an imminent change to "green energy".
If these "strategic acquisitions" are as wonderful as you claim and were bought as such good prices, then the share price would be considerably higher than it is.
As has been pointed out, with no work in them these "strategic acquisitions" are liabilities.
I thought some time ago that this dreadful totalitarian govt would have managed to get the infrastructure spending off the ground, and companies like INFA would have been making out like bandits .... but the reality is all this govt with its Oxbridge PPE politicians can do, is inflate the property bubble with ever lower interest rates, and more printed money to claim the economy is tickityboo!
H&W was a vanity project for Mr Wood, but at least their was some theory in buying it.
Seems Appledore was bought so Mr Wood could have another picture taken with Princess Nutnuts gimp
Seems as if Poots and the NI politicians have a choice.Give IM the go ahead, or watch their beloved shipyard go out of business again.
Seems this business is pretty much reliant on Boris and Poots, which is why the share price is where it is.
Its starting to look as if neither of them could pour pee out of a wellington boot if the instructions were on the heel.
Surely you'd need to do a FOI request to get details on the IM recommendation, as opposed to asking them the question.
Its an absolute disgrace that its taken this long.
Poots resigning after a vote of no confidence has nothing to do with IM.
Been endless amounts of chunky buys over the 3+ years ive parked money here, that have led to nothing.
Unless you have privileged information regarding the licence being granted, then nothing has changed
Thats ok Arum has bought 2 grands worth, tells me he isn't too confident!
