People could be allowed to go to football stadiums and theatres with relaxed social distancing rules from the end of next month under government plans to pilot saliva-based coronavirus tests.

The government wants to give tests to people which can rapidly establish whether someone is infectious as they arrive at venues. Those who pass the test will be allowed to enter. However, they will not give people a wider licence to breach social distancing rules.

One of the pilots could be carried out at an England women’s football international next month.

All economies need people and businesses to pay taxes and support the country. Once this income is threatened like it is now with potentially mass unemployment and bankruptcy, the government has to support those businesses to protect their future income. Once businesses are lost and their profitability gone then it is a long process to restart that taxable income. That’s why a reliable LFT is of paramount importance to protect those people and businesses in the near term rather than let them collapse.

I think we will have a blue finish today , anticipation is building thanks to the media and MP’s talking about the new generation of testing. The need for rapid testing like ours is the only test that will free up the economy and leisure sectors, as a vaccine is still way off. News is a day closer and possibly imminent next week.

Part of the validation process is to prove that we can hit the ground running with a mass test able to go straight to market. Cytiva has already stated that the LFT works. I think we will have a sustained rise in the SP until news is announced in the coming weeks, which could also be as early as next week, or within the next three to four weeks definitely.

It’s fair to say an announcement or update is due , or is overdue more to the fact . Nearing the end of the 3rd Quarter I think we are entitled to one . I expect we will have one as early as next week . A positive operations update will see us back above 5p , I expect we will be 10p by the year end. Here’s hoping anyway.
