Pfizer cannot say how long immunity will last, boosters may have to be given . This means that even with with a Vaccine testing will be of huge importance. It goes without saying that we should be pleased that Vaccines are starting to come out the rid us of this horrible virus and life and business back to normal as quickly as possible.

Even with a vaccine, there is still a huge market for LFT’s which digitally produce a COVID-Passport within minutes . With the virus mutation the vaccine may not necessarily last that long and could even be out of date by now. The Vaccine has many more hurdles to cross before it can be rolled out nationally and could still be a year off mass roll out. But let this be a warning to Avacta that we are vulnerable to new technologies being produced that can soon overtake us. I expect a rebound of COVID testing stocks this morning as the fall was overdone probably exaggerated by constantly hitting stop losses.

Lots of buying pressure to move the SP upwards now, looking like news is imminent and we are heading up towards 6p in the short term.

If as some believe an NDA is not in place with the Government then why have we not had an update, why no additional news. Progress must be being made on several fronts, I think the very fact that we are having this period of silence will prove rewarding for patient LTH’s . We keep saying that news is imminent but we have been saying this since July .

I think all the silence and delay, the getting up before seven in the morning to check for another non existent RNS, will be rewarded this week as our patience pays off and we surprise all the doubters. It is us !

Having held since April and being told to expect a substantial newsflow and product getting approval mid summer, then yes I am a little impatient. I am still holding though, waiting for the so called holy grail, feel like Indiana Jones .

In Dr Al’s pursuit of perfection, Avacta are again in danger of missing the boat once again as they did with the SARS test they developed. As a long term holder I think it’s only fair that we should be updated on progress and reasons for the unexpected delay. With so many fingers in so many pies it is surprising that it appears that no progress is coming to fruition. Am I been impatient ? Luckily the Virus seems to here for the long term.

I am tired of getting out of bed before 7pm only to be disappointed that We’ve got another day without news or any sort of update. My confidence is draining everyday that goes by. Here’s hoping for tomorrow.

Sky News now interviewee from Medical World saying Virus here for a long time and a vaccine is not a silver bullet.

With the report in the Mail on Sunday today referring to an imminent Vaccine, then Avacta must get positive news into the public domain soon to avoid a run on the SP. Even though a potential vaccine will not be rushed without proper trials, the Mail on Sunday usually has headline grabbing news to sell newspapers not necessarily tell the truth or the whole truth. It’s going to be important that rapid testing continues for the foreseeable incase a vaccine fails or is not available quickly enough.
