Rose Petroleum

Rose has announced that it has received approval from the US BLM to drill the GV22-1 well within the company’s Paradox acreage in Utah. The well is located on the new leases acquired in March 2018 and where 3D seismic was completed in December 2017.

Rose plans to drill this well once it has agreed with the BLM some boundary changes on the Gunnison Valley Unit whi was will take around 45 days of admin. The well which will be a horizontal one has the potential EUR of 894/- boe consisted with the Gaffney Cline CPR. Nearby well data makes Rose management a ‘high degree of confidence ‘ in the well potential for its first well. These are exciting times for Rose and the next months should show appropriate reward to management and shareholders.

Exactly GT, especially as there have been no roadshows etc in the city to my knowledge, to raise the funds for the first drill, besides, if it wasn’t a JV we’d not give a hoot about border changes, as raising enough money for one drill would be difficult enough. The due diligence being done, and the sedentary pace, suggests to me a large oiler on the JV front. Imho

Morrocoknows, oil flowing from the Portland, directly validates siesmic data obtained by ukog, they identified zones of intrest after processing siesmic data, drilled those zones (two Portland one Kimmeridge) and have subsequently flowed Oil from the Portland on an extended test, and as such imho de risked and validated the Siesmic data relating to the Kimmeridge also.
As for what’s at brockham or indeed lidsey in the Portland, without historic 3D data, overlayed by current 3D data of the oil resivoir, creating 4d data, it’s really anyone’s guess.
As for sentiment on aim being the main driver, agreed!

Whilst the jog comparison is a good one, people should remember that Farn have cash in the bank, unlike jog whose share price came off after the initial rise due to jog requiring funds, imho any large rise farn achieves, it will sustain the majority of it, when the market cap rises I think wie also see institutional investment return that sold due to low market cap and compliance issues.
