It may just be possible the fans are charging a layer above, this I do know, TXP don’t have all the answers yet either, because if they did they wouldn’t have found 10k bopd where they didn’t expect too, guaranteed they know a lot more after this drill though, and by the length of time it’s taking, I’m guessing payzone is deeper than expected in the Herras sands, or whatever they were called. You can use remote sensing, to detect night flaring if you manage to come up with accurate wgs84 coordinates, envirosat has good enough resolution for the task from memory, however, it’s not cheap, and given that satellites fly north to south, and the location is on the equator, coverage there is not as good as the higher latitudes.
