Nige Hi, Yes I can not see 260 at all now, if we were at 198+ ish I could see 210+ but 260 now seems a wish only, but could be wrong of course, love to see around that mark. martin Hi, Sorry for the late reply. At the current price ( 145 ish ) IMO this is a great buy in price as the Ex divi date for a 5.28pps is in a few weeks time 12th April, see link for details. My average is around 170 so I wish now that I had a chance to buy at 145 or less. Even if you sold just before the EXDD the shares may even rise up to the 11th April so you could still sell at a profit without taking the divi as you know the price will drop at the same rate as the divi on that day. In some cases the SP does not fall after the EXDD but rises so thats the risk you take if you hold short term. The other advantage is to hold for the longer term awaiting some good news then we should have a good rise. I will top up before the 12th for sure but it may not be 145 then ? So do your own thing and good luck what you decide, and this is "not a ramp" in any way, just my opinion. Figures from Nationwide Building Society showed UK house prices increased at a slower year-on-year pace in March, advancing just 2.1%. This was behind the 2.2% increase seen in February and slower than the 2.6% expected by economists. On a monthly basis the slowdown was even more surprising. Analysts had expected March price to rise 0.2% on February. In fact, Nationwide reported house prices dropped by 0.2% in March compared to February. This marked the second consecutive fall in prices.

Johnson Hi, Agree and I am lucky that I got out before they went down to current price, so all you can do now is wait until they return or sell at a loss and invest elsewhere and that's what I did. However that has not paid off for me yet !!!!! LOL. I wish I did not get involved with PFG or CNA but went for a gamble that did not pay off. In respect to special divi here just look what has happened to ITV since they said no special divi, down, down, down and God knows where this fall will stop. This is now another share that I wish I did not get involved with, same as Inland homes ( INL ) Where is that Cliff ( LOL ) Oh well TW back in the blue for a while at 185.05 ATB Tom :-))

Johnson Hi, CNA are up ATM 140.00 GBX Price increase 2.60 (1.89%) so that is good news. TW up as well at 185.40 GBX Price increase 0.75 (0.41%) so better news. As you know I got out of CNA at around 170 at a small loss but glad I got out at that time. But in the long term I am sure that they will come good. ITV are being a pain ATM and going nowhere but down so that will be another thing to think about !! ATB Tom :-))

Johnson Hi again, food for thought !!! I have a strange feeling that we are in for a wee rally. We have 1 working day this week and only 2 next week taking into account Easter long w/e before EXDD on the 5th April. I feel we may hit 190 by 4th or even sooner maybe tomorrow ? The thing to take into account with a low divi of 0.0244 maybe it would be worth selling at 190 rather than taking the divi as it will fall that and maybe lower on the EXDD and it could also go a lot lower to 180 ish ??? I am having difficulty on what action to take so thats why I said lots of thinking to do and what way to go. Back to thinking lol. ATB Tom :-))

Know what you mean and I am surprised with the resistance of TW at 185.30 as the Barchart attached states Strong sell ???? https://www.barchart.com/stocks/quotes/TW..LS I am considering selling all of ITV ( at a loss ) and buying back here for the divi, them selling to buy back ITV for their 5.28p divi on the 12th April. This is to lower the average but I will have to have a good think if its worth it dependant on each SP at the time, as you say we could see 179. Corlis Hi, Yes I agree and will try hard to average down over the next few months. The only problem ATM is that my average is around 185 / 190 here so will have to plan very carefully. The other issue is most cash invested in here plus ITV and Nano and in all cases average is higher than current SP. So sitting on the fence ATM and waiting for an opportunity.
