Well plan 'A' didn't work, so cancelled the limit. Await now to see what happens today. The SP is still over 160 so still may have a small chance of a quick sell in hope's for a cheaper buy back. My plan was to see a spike this morning ( 165+) after the nice Friday rise then a fall back to the high 140's but that did not work for me. Better really as I am up and at em now after a good nights sleep.

Morning all and thanks for your replies.

I am waiting to see if I have made a mistake or not, but it was a pure gamble in attempts to reduce my paper loss ATM. I will tell you if it went through or not. I do not mind if it does not as you all know I am a LTH here.

Troubles hi, out of interest,

In your opinion do you think we will uphold the 1.60's tomorrow or do you think with the latest we will fall back to the 145's.

The reason I ask is that I have put a 25% sell limit at 1.65 for tomorrow morning thinking it will fall back, then buy back on the fall. Maybe those late Friday sells thought the same. Its just a gamble on my part so not meant for others to follow !!!!!!!!

Very wet here today so off to the Village for a nice pint or two.

Yes you could be right. Not a lot of mention to those 3 X 1 Million pound sells late Friday ?????? They may have thought the same.

Yes that does make sense in the longer term, and quite honestly who really knows what will happen. I just hope we all are rewarded at the end of the day for our patience and loyalty over the past 3 Years.

Yes very nice indeed at 164.20 now up over 11 %. that's the biggest rise I have seen for a long while, hope it continues. Looks like some may have sold some at a loss to reduce risk today hoping to buy back on a drop, maybe they sold too early ?

Yes totally agree. I was referring to some that said it will have no effect to the housing sector as houses will always be in demand / required, but how wrong was that statement !
Maybe some good news on the horison though !!! SP looking good today up 4.8% :-))

Yes just got in from a good walk in the Sun but bit on the cold side. Just listened to the latest BBC news and yes !! lets hope something comes out of this. I remember someone on here saying that the mess has no effect to our SP how wrong that was. Just goes to show how the markets react !!!!!

I agree that the SP is a lot lowere than we would all like and I am down a fair bit ATM with an average of around 1.96 so I have a long way to go before I am back in any sort of profit here. But thank heavens its on paper only ATM . I also agree we will have a poor future due to the current market volatility. As you said the other day "It got down to mid 130s last winter" I hate to say but I agree with you that we could see that again and maybe worse to come.

As a long termer I am now sitting back on the old fence and switching off till the next divi ( If we get one ) No more share buying here for a while but these low's are great for new investment but all spare cash spent elsewhere for a while.

Nice to see a little rise today up 1.4%, lets hope we have seen the bottom and we start on a better road. Looking back a year ago we were at 1.58 so not so bad as some may think.

You seem to always cause arguments on this board. The reason I was talking to another member was that they were interested in the Jaguar F type and my post was directed to him NOT you. I was also talking to another poster and asked if he was interested in GGP as he was buying gold, again nothing to do with you. You then start an argument with your offensive post at 18:49 saying :-
"TOM, you admonish us for discussing Brexit (which most people are interested in) and insist that we should only discuss TW. Then you ramble on about GGP and cars which most of us are not interested in"

You wonder why the reply you had. If you insist on butting in to post that do not concern you and you get a reply that you do not like Please do not get involved with others conversations that have nothing to do you.
