LSE cannot 'create' boards. Boards are added when shares are listed.

Given JHI is a private business... Gross assets allegedly US$30 million.

Book value Guyana field allegedly US$3.5 million.

PL001 hard to say, but on delisted Argos was worth 8,467,820 JHI common shares and £303,500 in cash.

I've put in a request with LSE for the creation of a JHI Associates board.

Don't know if it's within the rules for private companies to have boards though. I think JHI is quoted - can't find a share price.

Not to be confused (I think) with the two JHI Canadian Mutual Funds - which do have boards on LSE and listed quotes.

Perhaps of more interest to ex-Argos shareholders is the fact that JHI Associates own a 17.5% stake in a British Guyana licence mostly owned and operated by none other than Exxon-Mobil.

The Canje block is next door to another Exxon-Mobil mostly owned & operated licence producing only 220,000 barrels of oil per day.

I have my doubts JHI have sufficient resources to mount a drilling campaign in PL001 - but I stand to be corrected. No doubt, they'll be looking for another farm-in partner?

The spread with FIH shares is pretty fearsome with such a small cap / no. shares in issue - but your buy @ 196p is in profit.

No doubt the SP is moving in sympathy with RKH, awaiting the FID from Navita's Petroleum on Sea Lion.

FIH's results were pretty dreadful - surely it can't get any worse? Dividend due soon.

No idea... could be a safe port in a storm (ie Greece)... Recent RNS stated an increase in NAV, which has given impetus to the sp... Potential for an increase in dividend yield... Take your pick? Interesting to compare and contrast to Juridica (JIL) which is a similar oddball business - but apparently going in the opposite direction to BUR - following decrease in NAV and a potential dividend fall.
