RE: Jay bottom?29 Aug 2024 22:08
There's questions about the placing shares "coming on to the market" on the 6th. This is wrong for two reasons. First, the shares are admitted according to the RNS:
"· Admission becoming effective by no later than 8.00 a.m. on 6 September 2024"
This is "no later than", not "only after". This is the first reason why the 6th isn't a hard deadline.
The second is that the people involved in the placing ALREADY have substantial Jay share holdings. They could just sell their existing holdings and top up with the placement shares whenever they do eventually take hold of them. They might have to notify the market of their changed position, but its still an option to them. So the 6th is irrelevant.
My bet is they haven't sold them, but I used the word "bet" as everything is a gamble on the AIM.
