Roundtable Discussion; The Future of Mineral Sands. Watch the video here.
The ship's schedule in the Bahamas has been locally confirmed. Whether it is pulling into Freeport and whatnot. For how long etc. Is this information people want or am I going to be attacked for it? Will my message be deleted by Harry Potter?
Just replying to TRB-BPC. That is the only news that has been posted this weekend.
Nothing very exciting. Another exchange between Potter and smith. I suppose it is a good overview of the positions. what on Earth is going on with the government's position in this, I do not understand.

Go back and look at those posts again ShareScare. Sorry if that caused confusion.
Those were letters cut and pasted from the newspaper websites including signature. Not by me just shared here by me
You must realize hat there is also this perspective: http://www.tribune242.com/news/2015/jan/07/tough-call-maligned-crusader-standing-bahamian-con/
ShareScare I am not Ricardo Johnson! I is however true that BPC and the government have declined to disclose the terms of this settlement, including the number of license fee payments that were missed. It is likely to stay that way unless the judicial review application is granted. We have no freedom of information act in the Bahamas and there is no duty to report this sort of thing to the public.
Thank you Ibiza, appreciated. ShareScare - apologies, I cut and paste from the other thread in order to answer the question and didn't realize I had included that part.
It is a Professional Fund allowing qualified Bahamian investors (financial institutions, high net worth individuals) "to share in the outcome of BPC’s oil exploration". $10,000 min buy in and option to subscribe on a monthly basis at the prevailing Net Asset Value per Share price. Contrary to your earlier hotel CEO guesses I am actually connected to a financial institution here but it is not my place go into the details of its involvement in the fund. many people here feel disenfranchised by their inability to invest directly in any of the industries or projects that come here. Not bpc's fault at all, it was a political decision that happened 50 years ago. In my opinion it is a regressive form of economic protectionism which holds the individual bahamian's financial potential hostage.

From the national news last night: https://youtu.be/ESrPMXEqz2w
I view this as both good and bad. Not sure where his sudden opposition came from, but he admits that legally, they are bound to the deal. The AG has already said the government will fight the legal challenge. Still this is strange.

So I am not going to make a new thread about this, but rather ask it all the way down here. There is a development in the Bahamas, some of it good some of it bad. I do not want to incur the wrath of Linton or others. Do I keep it to myself? can I private message someone on this who's a little bit more stable and allow them the opportunity to share it if they so choose?
Thank you NellyB, much appreciated. I understand that everyone is excited and nervous at the same time. Like an interminable Christmas eve!!
Charming people like Linton make the people of the Bahamas just love BPC. But then, he doesn't care about that does he?
I know not of what means you speak and besides, that would be illegal!
ShareScare - Unfortunately as a Bahamian none of that is available to me. Our exchange control laws do no allow citizens to invest in companies other than those traded on our local exchange. The only opportunity for myself and any Bahamian was back in January:

No worries harry, thank you for the apology. I appreciate it
they were not displaced from school. They are all in school virtual or otherwise. Every child in the Bahamas goes to school as mandated by law. No exceptions. It has been that way for 50 years.
Harry, what if I am just a Bahamian who is also becoming offended by some things that have been said? for example your reference in an earlier post to all of the children who don't even have a school to go to, which is false. Every child in the Bahamas must attend school up to the age of 16 as mandated by the Bahamas education act. You can look it up if you like.
