It's helped sound massively having them on board in Morocco. But doesn't create the same waves of excitement as BP or EXXON IMO

They just aren't the same household name as the others. I'm well aware of them as I used to work off shore for Baker Hughes. They are an absolutely colossus of a company just don't think they have the same zing as BP, EXXON, SHELL etc. if you get what I mean.

Schlumberger are an oil field service provider not a Major. But they are dipping their toe in have a look at Sound.

I'd plump for BP and EXXON

And current CPR doesn't include zone 19 and below!

For those who don't know T-45 and Dino which are the first two wells on test required a frac to get the oil flowing from zones 14 and 15 (this wasn't a surprise it was always planned). These two wells have been on test 150 days.

then there is zone 9 which has been flowing for years but relatively small amount

T-39 drilled through Zone 9,14 and 15 and into Zone 19 which is being tested now (60 days). Zone 19 flowed sweet light crude without a frac and associated gas is also being flared.

These wells are sidetracks of older wells drilled in the soviet Era and the challenge has been in the different pressure regime to drill a nicely gauged borehole that production casing can be cemented successfully in. The Russians messed this up with high mud weights and damaged formation leading to poor cement jobs and silting.

BUT FRR have cracked it with the last 3 wells coming in on time and on budget (below with T-39 that's why they went deeper). With excellent cement jobs and Great flow rates (guessed that bit). Sales from selling oil they are flow testing are at a minimum servicing a debt of $265k a month. One would assume for two Majors to be interested they are producing much more.
If there is no news before hopefully we'll see some of these figures in the interim results end of September.

All in All the potential here is mind blowing!

I think the market just dont believe them! lets face it there is nothing concrete in the RNS

early discussions with majors - Very encouraging
still no flow rates after 150 days - explained away and understandable

if you take a negative view then nothing actually changed as they say they've had an NDA for the past couple of years (just never officially RNS'd it)

It'll come good the potential is absolutely HUGE and even if a tiny part of it is realised then the value of the company has to rocket

Another MASSIVE RNS we are back to losing 5-10% everyday just like the last 6 weeks before the RNS. Ho hum at least we know it'll be 30p soon
