testing isnt happening until February so we'll have to wait patiently!

It is a discovery, before they discovered some gas it hadn't been discovered. The caveat in the presentation and in RNS is that it's not a confirmed commercial discovery until fully tested. I do agree though using the term discovery makes it sound like a good un, just like they refered to te6 and 7as discoveries
