They always say there are only so many bitcoins that can ever be mined. This is why they say bitcoin will always be of value. But what they neglected to say is that other cryto currencies are appearing. Doge coin is the latest. If hundreds appear, does this mean all of them are worthless?

Debt can be terminal if it gets too big tho. 2007 Taylor Wimpy was £5.50 and went as low as 3pence for just one day during the financial crisis. Luckily the banks relaxed the terms and they went back up to £1.60 in no time.

The $26 Trillion national debt is because of all the wars they start and the sub prime lending fraud/banks bailout. I'm unclear how they will wriggle out of this predicament at the moment. Perhaps it will be like Startrek where we don't use money. Or perhaps Planet of the Apes.
They owe China about 4 or 5 trillion (bonds). Presumably they'll want it back...
