Hereshopin would you be able to point me in right direction or get involved with buying a majority of a current shell. Looking to enter market with a friend on a manufacturing business. £120mill order book, 35% operating profit and the potential to a £300mill contract. Please let me know as I value your experience and knowledge of the markets
I wouldn’t want any poor management to retain my friend would want to bring in his own team and then recruit any skill sets they don’t have on the board around markets and what is required for the plc.
Thanks also Neil, I’m aware of inside knowledge etc and I won’t ever mention names or Specifics. At this point it’s a case of wieghing up the options
Thanks reardon currently considering options. Really appreciate all the helpful posts and breakdown of costs if we were to enter.
I’m not cooperate but I’m a genuine person.
I’ve been involved in 3 ipo’s all through primary bid and the conversations Ive had with primary bid have been poor because the fees they charge and they behaved like sharks. The fact I now have a close Friend who has a product that is a profitable and is scalable with the order book in place it’s a no brainer to buy a shell and take that route. Cutting out as many middle men as possible. I’m fully aware this shell is cheap also interested in tmor.
I think past issues would come up in DD and cost hundreds of k to resolve, something really dodgy there gone on so would a new buyout be enough to save this
What would it cost to take over this shell and have the majority share
Ok now we’re getting somewhere. So he could buy this shell or any other individual. Is there enough liquidity
Your response highlighted that your out your depth and can add no useful advice
Im not getting into a slanging match as I know what I know. Im exploring options for him. He’s a visionary and is a technical genius. Not all business owners understand how to float a business and enter the markets.
An accountant and a lawyer is not the answer at this stage. It needs to be an investment arm or an individual who has experience in this venture and route
Can anyone direct my friend on who needs to be appointed or spoken to about a possibility of a raise and merger to fund an expansion. He has 120mill worth of orders over a 3 year contract and has an operating profit of 35%.
Pipeline for £300mill additional orders in the manufacturing industry. Please can someone point me in best direction
Ok so my Friend has confirmed orders for £120 mill for his manufacturing business with a 35% operating profit. The contract is over 3 years.
They are filing first years accounts in august. Would he be able to do a raise and float via ITSARM and then become publically traded. If so how would he go about organising?
