PW - said it best - BTC is a store of value. As inflation increases (due to increase in the money supply) the value of your ££ falls. One of the best ways to hold on to the value of your ££ is to hold it in BTC. This is more likely to increase your value over time as there is a finite amount of BTC but there is an endless supply of money. (countries just print it)

There is more to it - If I think of a proactive Enviro-friendly country, China is not really one that springs to mind. If I think of a country that wants profit at any costs - China first on the list.

Herdie: Good call, I am looking to do something most likely in a country that needs support. Not sure which one at the moment. Currently I have set up a local food bank to help those who have been furloughed, made unemployed, reduced hours etc ... due to lock down. Also, just provided over 250 cooked family meals during the half term break. We did 450 cooked meals over the Xmas period. If I can retire early then I can take these projects further.
