The only logic i see in that is if the Quattro BOD are selling to Jesmond for a higher price than they are buying from UOG for. Certainly not impossible. In that case , why not UOG goes straight to Jesmond and gets paid more for the asset.

Possibly, but when you go onto the Jesmond page on the Toronto Stock exchange, it says Jesmond are buying Quattro. Are you saying that that may be so, but Quattro don’t need the money to complete, before Jesmond buys them.

As far as i can make out, Jesmond Capital have an agreement in place with Private high value investors and are waiting for the money to arrive. Once this is done they can then buy Quattro and complete the deal. It looks like all parties still want this to go ahead.
