Wressle has continued to exceed production expectations since the successful completion of the coiled tubing operations on the 19 August 2021, instantaneous flow rates in excess of 884 barrels of oil per day ("bopd") along with 480,000 cubic feet of gas (c. 80 barrels of oil equivalent per day) have been achieved from the Ashover Grit reservoir on a significantly restricted choke setting (30.5/64ths) with high wellhead flowing pressure. Zero formation water has been seen as the well continues to clean up. ZERO FORMATION WATER HAS BEEN SEEN AS THE WELL CONTINUES TO CLEAN UP!!!



Excellent flow rates are currently being recorded, however, the full flow potential of the well remains to be fully tested due to constraints being experienced due to the scope of the gas handling equipment currently being used on site.

Pboo and chums posting incessantly trying to suggest no oil at Wressle, waste tankers not oil tankers lol? So what is it, a Egdon Resources, Europa Oil & Gas and Union Jack conspiracy? All three companies with bent Nomads then. As I have stated previously, here we have a bunch of roadside protestors who presently have no residents to interrupt with their road gluing, slow walking actions so they turn to the bulletin boards instead. Small gains but big losses for them as Wressle continues to pump oil and Union Jack continues to coin in the cash. They hate it. Sadly for them however, this well is continuing to improve and will almost certainly generate millions of pounds for the three JV partners and offers further scope to increase the oil extraction. It's a super site, it's clean, tidy and quiet. The council love the cash they get, they will approve further drilling.

This daily bombardment by these people is merely an annoyance, it will not stop Union Jack from being a profitable company. Shareholders just need to sit back and wait now. True value will win here and no amount if daily dross will prevent this.

Issues with Reabold, as does RNSTranslator, just look at all his posts daily, Reabold specifically but he follows suit with Oilman Jim on the exact same stocks. I am in no doubt that Oilman Jim and RNSTranslator are the same person. Incidentally StopStart, I don't dispute all of what Oilman Jim says and neither do I dispute what RNSTranslator says as they both say the exactly the same about the same stocks!

Note: He's paid to do articles, you mention in the past you are also paid to to articles. Note: Neither of you are paid to post on bulletin boards. But RNSTranslator, it was you yourself that stated you were 'paid to write, not on the BB's but elsewhere' and lets be fair, you would hardly admit to being Oilman Jim anyway. Can you perhaps explain why you choose to support his dislike of the same stocks? I mean, it could be a coincidence, but having just checked back, I see you also show a distaste for Hurricane Energy too, another that has been on the Oilman Jim hit-list, gosh this coincidence seems to be almost to much to take in!

You are quite far from the truth there RNSTranslator. I invested here recently based on what I saw as a stock that was being relentlessly trashed, targeted and personal attacks on management that had previously been respected by its shareholders. I saw a company that have some interesting and near term revenue generating assets. Looking at your history, you appear to see a company with no future and have spent all your time on the LSE turning every positive into a negative, or downplaying any investor sentiment. Every positive post met with a response intended to take the shine away. You mirror the attitude shown by Oilman Jim on the same stocks.

Three companies entwined with each other and you here and there 7 days a week countering every positive post. I note Oilman Jim appears to have the very same issues with these companies and I note you previously stated you get paid to write articles. One big coincidence imo.

Even many everyday kitchen items including dishes, cups, non-stick pans, and dish detergent use oil in their creation.

But councillors pander to them in matters where common sense challenges their re-election. Bend to the few to keep their salaries at the cost of their community.

Biscathorpe:

1. Plans to drill for oil in the Lincolnshire Wolds have been recommended for approval.
2. Planning officers at Lincolnshire County Council have recommended the application is given the go ahead.
3. The planned development is on an existing site.
4. Any opposition admissions over climate change issues when assessing the development are not for consideration. The application only needs to meet acceptable land use in planning terms.
5. The planning officers report confirmed the impacts of the proposal on landscape character and visual impact are considered by officers to be minor in nature given the duration of the proposal and that it is entirely reversible.
6. Biscathorpe was drilled in 2018 without any impact on the environment or local people.
7. In January 2021, the Planning Inspectorate upheld an appeal and granted planning consent for the development of the Wressle Oil Field in North Lincolnshire licences PEDL180 and PEDL182. The cost to the North Lincolnshire Council was agreed at £403,000.

The council’s planning committee refused the scheme three times, most recently in November 2018, despite recommendations by officers to approve.

Councillors pandered to activists, ignoring the advice of their own planners.

Will this happen again over Biscathorpe? Will Lincolnshire Council make the same mistake or will they have seen the lesson learned by their neighbours?

The fact the Biscathorpe drill was allowed should be a strong indication that testing and developing it should be a natural progression.

The OGA’s onshore decision-making framework:-

"Security of supply: The need for the United Kingdom to have a secure supply of energy".

With the present situation in the UK, Brexit and other underlying reasons for gas shortages/prices, we need as much oil and gas as possible for the foreseeable future. Any development such as Biscathorpe offers an opportunity to make a contribution to UK requirements and the pressure will be on the councillors next Monday.

Will they bend to pressure from a few local activists, a small number of residents and 950 letters of dissent from people with no local or physical interest in the area?

If they do, the rate payers will be the losers.

Not only will they lose over half a million pounds of council funds, they will also delay the valuable community funding that comes with the operation.

I hope, and would like to think that common sense overrules stupidity!

Wressle is a fantastic well, the oil os good quality, it is free flowing substantial amounts if oil, it has a long way to go as soon as the site upgrades are completed and the choke opened up.

It moves UJO away from its peers, the site is second only to Wytch Farm in onshore UK production.

A major milestone achieved and things will go from good to better now.

Biscathorpe is a small development, already drilled and as that was agreed, what would the point be in disallowing it? Not as though it's on the same shake as the West Newton application. I believe Wressle has highlighted every reason for approval. Tidy site, no noise or disruption to locals, what's different at Biscathorpe? In the middle of nowhere and no previous records to dispute reasons for approval.
