If you scroll down via the link, the statement is there to see. I do not necessarily agree, but as another SH (@Europboy) posted it, there was a need for a response although the author of the statement might not understand Alba.

As you can see, I'm HOLDING. If I could top up, I would. I might even consider selling other shares to do so.

While this is all well and good, Alba’s smaller resource at 19mt appears insufficient to support the expected capital cost of processing mineral sands in Greenland.

A feasibility study commissioned by Bluejay for Dundas shows a $280m capital cost for the mine and process plant.

Alba also appears some way behind Bluejay in terms of the extensive work required for mine permitting in Greenland indicating to us that it may be some years before Alba is ready to submit the required documentation for mining license approval.

Conclusion: Alba is a classic case of a company with a multitude of mining and oil and gas project which lack focus. The company is involved in Ireland and Wales and two oil & gas projects in England and in at least four projects in Greenland. While this gives good diversification, we feel mine development requires focus to realise value.

Annoyingly, SHs are entitled to take a profit. Presumably he sold his 2M shares and has now moved on. As for a sale of 95p I really am lost for words!

OK Mr Smelly B, I wasn't sure where you were going with your statement, but I will state for the record that you have put your (shall we say) concerns in a coherent way and well delivered.

Yes in Alba with just over 1Mil (shares not £££'s. Took out some profit from Kefi to do it, plus I topped up. I know the area reasonably well as used to holiday in the area back in the 1970s. Potentially some good stuff coming out of Clogau so I thought a punt. But as UK says, the SP has/had increased an awful lot previously so I'm on the back foot for now. I'm holding out till Christmas - that's what I've told the missus but I've not stated what year!!!

As they're ordered some heavy equipment from SA, I think there's more than being declared atm. The gold there is high grade, so as long as they can find it in enough amounts then so well and good.

They are also going to examine around 12 tonnes of previously mined material as techologies have improved and there could be nuggets to be found.

Also one mine shaft which previously provided good returns in going to be pumped out for further exploration. Don't forget they've only inspected a small percentage of the area and have also obtained licenses for drilling which is very good news.

Apart from Alba's other projects all "potentially" looks good so worth the wait.

SP wise, I have to say this (KEFI) BB seems more switched on and don't over-ramp as I've seen SHs stating 3p through to 5p on the Alba BB. Would be nice tho!

Mr UK: I do get your sentiment re Alba, but they're now hauling in some heavy gear from Sth Africa, so they wouldn't be doing that unless something is on the cards. Time will tell and I can wait.

I'm relatively new to Alba, but not a visitor. Another roller-coaster methinks!
