This was the opposing view I omitted from my post yesterday. Instead of "Fk me the first Tonne proves massive" we "appear" to be in a different position.

I agree that the RNS is full of positives regarding of what Alba have done and that COVID constraints are not getting in their way, BUT I have to say that the Market was expecting more on the gold grades/assay results hence the SP drop.

Clearly this is an emotional topic as SHs are taking chunks out of each other and squabbling which to be fair is expected.

I will be honest, I did expect assay results sooner rather than later and am now mindful of "MY" perceived delay in this. This is echoed by others. However, I do not think it fair for others to shoot them down when voicing their dismay.

I think the RNS is a holding one for now: Either to wet one's appetite or to allow more time to properly assay the sample results.

Yes I'm disappointed, but will definitely hold for now as frankly I've no other option. I was not lucky enough to come in @ sub .01p and will not be looking to take a loss just yet. Such is the AIM Market.

Yes you're absolutely right as I deliberately missed out the possible opposite outcome of the sampling. Clearly I'm being highly speculative, but isn't this part of buying AIM stocks? There are many videos of Mark Austin our senior Geologist ( I think) and our CEO who have already said that there are high grades of gold historically. We can safely assume that there is a shed load more that eluded the "Old Timers" . Clearly we now have better technology and skills to locate any trace of gold so YES expectation is high.

Normally, my beer glass is half empty but in this case it's going to be far more than half full and going to overflowing.

Our BoD have done an exceptional job so far and have just stopped short of saying there's flippin' loads of the stuff as they simply can't. But by the fact alone that they're shipping in plant from Sth Africa is good enough for me. If I had more available cash to load up, then I would but I sold all other shares for just this one journey. Such is my belief.

Good to have you onboard on this project as to all you other "Lucky People".

Quite a few SHs have asked about this and I'm trying to logically think this through and to give a sensible reply:

1 Ton sample followed by a further 3 Ton sample doesn't really worry me. The industry and of course our BoD, are and will be heavily regulated in what they can say and cannot simply give out un-corroborated statements. This should be a given. Therefore, our BoD must be absolutely sure of the results prior to declaring to the Stock Market and their shareholders. Any rogue and wild statements would be reckless. If it transpires that the assay results are lower than expectations there would be absolute Hell to pay which in turn would cause the SP to crash which is in no one's best interest. Our BoD have appeared to be extremely responsible so far and have their own personal careers to consider so when they release the Assay Results via the RNS they want to be concise.

I'd say MAD. However, if the SP hit 40p in 3 months then you you can have my children. It's only that they're all in their twenties and thirties and I'm sick of the sight of em :)

Seriously, if the assay results are in keeping with what we suspect then I'd be happy to see 5p by the end of 2020. (3p to be more realistic going on UFO etc)

Given the amount of updates with Tweets etc, I can't see anything going amiss. They seem to have got the funding sorted with the latest two warrant issues so we just have to sit on our hands and wait. If you can top up on a dip then fine go for it. I can't as I've done all my dough!!!

I sold Pensana (PRE) and KEFI to get into a better position here with ALBA. PRE seem to have toped out atm, but I'm thankful for the profits. KEFI seem to have stalled and awaiting funding news which I believe will be late coming if at all now. Either way, I'm happy with my stake here :)
