RE: hahaha told you it would break £627 May 2021 12:31
@Crystal, in May-June 2018 many people on here bought the dip, and then they proceeded to spend the next 2 plus years continuing to buy it whilst talking the price up, and plucking figures out of their ass about where the price was headed based on at best minimal analysis purely because they were stuck.
Without a global pandemic, those people would have been stuck indefinitely, and based on their posting histories, it does not seem that many of them have educated themselves or learned anything trading or investment related during the intermittent period.
If any of them had predicted the global pandemic I'd respect that, but they didn't yet they seem to be taking the credit for it because the price has surpassed a prediction that was purely guesswork. Those selling the dip post-May 2018, were for the most part chased off the board for implying the price might fall further.
Unlike the past, this board has a semblance of balance now, mostly because that group of posters has either moved on, sold up, or post less frequently. Fortunately, they have been replaced by people who have bought the rise, not the dip, and therein lies a fundamental difference.
