I think the market is just taking the price down today, and the Alogs are just doing their thing.

The @268 price was a previous support level in December 2021 on my daily chart, but with the markets being so volatile from one day to the next anything is possible.

I am continuing to trade this all the way down

Bought back the ones I sold @281.5 on Monday for @265 today.

This very much feels like 2018-2019 all over again and company fundamentals/asset values are having little impact on the price at the moment.

Brokers are hit and miss for me, hence why I have multiple accounts with them, I think its always best to test them them yourself rather than take a recommendation from someone else.

As you said, no one broker covers all the bases, the bigger ones have the best software though, other traders on this site always tend to use and recommend IG for day trading but I guess many of them are utilizing the spread bet option.

To be honest I don't bother with level 2 at the minute, I found in the past it distracted me and the order book can be spoofed pretty easily. I have another indicator and set-up for volume etc. I'm still very much in the learning phase and will probably implement level 2 eventually.

The reason I stick with the trading view set-up is I have the app installed on my phone, and I can just set up notification alerts for when the price of a stock hits my target etc. It also means I do not have to be stuck in front of a screen all day and can trade on the go, so to speak.

I do have multiple broker accounts, though, simply because some are better at executing live orders than others and to separate trading funds from those allocated to invest. I will eventually simplify it all to one broker though but as said above I am still learning and adapting my approach.

I have built up a holding in recent weeks and traded my way down from the 444 level to the current level at a profit, but I also have funds set aside that I will likely invest month to month rather than all in one go, simply because the market is so volatile at present ( Vix above 30)

I tend to use trading view as I get my live data from them and the scripts are site specific, I also agree that too many indicators is a hindrance rather than a help, especially if someone uses both leading and lagging one's for TA. The key I found is just understanding them and adjusting to the ones that suit your specific method of trading/investing and with practice and experience I have adapted it many times and switch in and out various indicators. Understanding divergence is also a key for short-term trading, but again, nothing is ever full-proof.

As you said I don't think there is much risk with RMG and at some point in the future it will be back at the £5-6 pound level, but how long that takes is anyone's guess. The key is just not to panic sell when and if the market does tank and the economy goes into recession, which is what many are predicting.

The script add's the support and resistance lines automatically in real-time on any stock and time frame.

Numbered candles are just an adaptation of the Demark indicator, which I was informed by a past trader from JP Morgan that institutions analysts tend to utilize and program their algo's with. I just adapted the script to suit my own purposes and added a few other custom indicators.

Tradingview is a really good site for charting, plus lots of members tend to upload scripts and indicators that can often be customizable. Obviously nothing is perfect, but having something that updates live in real-time is always a huge plus.

Below is a weekly chart version for RMG and I tried to include the rise from 2020 onwards along with the current decline and as you will see and as Scamp said previously 227 is the next major support line, based on the 2020 rise. The price may well get there if the market continues to tank but nothing goes down in a straight line.

Is there a Royal Mail website with a forum where employees and former employees talk about the company and in-house fundamentals? I distinctly remember a past poster I think it was Derek mention it.

For me, I invest / trade in stocks and shares to make one thing and that is a return on investment.

Listening to some former and current employees on here, I would hazard a guess that they would be far better off on that type of website as learning fundamentals about trading and investing does not seem to be on their agenda.

@Newdealz appreciate the chart, these are the type of posts that add-value for me along with discussion between CURRENT employees on CURRENT events.

Lastly, if anyone wants to take a shot at me or call me out on anything please just mention my user name in future and @me so I don't have to read any more un-punctuated drivel.

People can say what they want about AngerSharks but he is the primary reason that there has been any traffic to this board in recent months. The clown on the other-hand is just looking for attention, lonely toddler that he is and does not care if it is good or bad.

I look how much I have learned since I first posted here and it shows in the place that matters the most my bank account, but I will add 99.9% of my learning has come outside of this board. Ironically 2 years ago I still knew more than 99 % of the previous posters here on anything trading, finance and investment related and all that has occurred since Covid, is that that gap has clearly grown.
