Nice to see Kiran having his usual affect on the market after his presentation. Amapa will hopefully be fruitful but still a lot of risk in executing especially with the timelines.
Everything else is uninspired. To think I and I’m sure a lot of folk originally invested here for Sanora “The Saudi Arabia of” Lithium it’s particularly galling to see how that investment or should I say lack of has played out. There is zero chance of the mine plan being brought forward. Yet I remember the Lenigas and Mozaria days of how transformational our JVs were going to be in Sonora. Not that important when they are not in scope for decades to come.
It is after all about getting to production and cash flow and I guess a number of serious investors will look at KDNC as being miles away from that in any of its projects.
Kiran talks about hopefully being in production in Amapa by 2024.. Sounds great, but when you think just getting the paperwork through on the loan creditors has been running for 2 years plus and still hasn’t formally been signed forgive me if I automatically add 3 years to Kieran’s hopeful timeline of 2024.. so it will be 2027 by the time Amapa is up and running. At which point the price of Iron Ore and the worlds desire for Natural Resource projects like this might well be extremely low..
Quick question- does Cadence own any of the Amapa project? I ask because having listened to Kiran today the implication is that we still don’t own anything of the Amapa project and will not until the credit agreement is officially signed which could based on form be another 12 months.. I maybe wrong but thought I would check..
This is an interesting read

Is Kiran still CEO here. I attended the AGM in September 2019 when Kiran and the board were as excited as as a child Christmas morning with Amapa going to be transformational for Cadence..
2 years on it looks like we continue to tread water. What has happened to the $2.5m in Escrow. Is it still there ? Has it earned any interest and looking through the RNS’s Kiran writes ( one assumes he writes them) as if Cadence either owns the Amapa project or at least is a cornerstone partner, yet there is nothing to suggest that Cadence is anything other than an interested bystander.
Having been invested here since 2014 when Sonora was going to be the “Saudi Arabia” of Lithium and Tesla was going to be the exclusive off take which would propel Cadence or then REM. One can forgive my lack of faith or confidence in Kiran Mozaria ..
It’s effectively 2 years (AGM 2019) since the board stated Amapa would be transformational and did the consolidation.. Next Month will mare 1 year since the release of the RNS stating we had reached verbal agreement with the creditors..
I often wonder if some of us will be alive to see the benefits of Amapa .. I though do admire the RNS’s that Kiran releases on Amapa progress reports that provide details as if the project is ours. Unless I’m mistaken KDNC officially own nothing of the Amapa Iron ore project.
I’m assuming KDNC still don’t technically own anything of the Amapa iron ore project yet. I wonder if the monies in escrow have been accruing interest. The fact it’s been in escrow for nearly 2 years you would hope there may be more than 2.5million usd in there... 2019 seems like a life time ago.
I don’t believe currently KDNC own any of the Amapa project. So any shipments or project progress benefits other parties and not KDNC.
It is difficult to understand what the delay is when we reached agreement on terms of settlement nearly a year ago.
Well Kiran’s webinar and Q&A have had a great effect on the SP..
I think will take a while to hit 60p +.. unfortunately investors joining that webinar and being attracted to KDNC for the first time will have not too subtly worked out that KDNC released an RNS about shipping 45,000 tonnes of Iron Ore .. first time since 2015 when they don’t actually own anything at all. Technically they are not currently part of this project
Can I just clarify that Cadence don’t currently own any part of the Amapa Project at all. The assumption on recent postings here is that Cadence own 20 or in fact 27% and will take that to 49%.. I have checked all RNS’s and can’t find anything that details Cadence own anything of the Amapa project currently
Is the Amapa project still real ? Is KDNC still involved? I thought they were expecting to release escrow funds? Is that not happening now ?
Thought we were out of EMH
These questions are appalling ! Questions on internal controls . Let’s get to our strategic investments I.e Amapa ??
Derek come on man why are we asking these types of questions.. ??
Thanks! Have registered and all set many thanks
Hi,
Does anyone have the link for the AGM. I have pin and passcode but no link to join
Are KDNC still invested in EMH or still they sell all their holdings??
What is a significant number of shares?
Why has the SP tanked this morning? Folk selling out for profits?
