I am going on a two week holoday and will be out of touch completely.....you can therefore expect a humungous rise in SIT's share value...if you are reading this, BONAPPETIT, sell some for me!!!!! Seriously though....I am, for the first time in my 60 years, totally unable to predict ANYTHING right now...I am unsure of dawn! SIT should be sitting pretty....every damned investor will be looking to sustainables/renewables in the VERY near future....hold fast me hearties and think on laddies!
Net Loss On a GAAP basis, net loss for 2007 was $24.7 million, or $0.35 per share (which includes (i) $12.4 million in non-cash stock-based warrant compensation, (ii) $1.5 million in non-cash stock-based option compensation, (iii) a $0.9 million non-cash change in the fair value of warrants, and (iv) a $4.8 million charge related to the conversion of certain convertible notes, partially offset by a $3.3 million recovery of an impaired receivable), when compared with net loss for 2006 of $22.9 million or $0.62 per share.
Figures out? Any change? April Fools.
I guess the "good call"-thank you rocketred2- was on the basis of my "hold" opinion. I never could say one thing and do another....so hold it is. My worry is that there are MANY in my position, and that like cars in a traffic jam, we're all part of the problem. Any indication of a respectable rise cause a flurry of corrective selling. Its that old definition of capitalism.... a vibration between greed and fear! What's needed is for some of the majors to get in on the act and add some solid inertia at whatever value the share rises to...and it WILL rise....in order to begin a trend. Right now we are bumping along the runway and just not reaching take-off speed.....weight is greater than lift, thrust is less than drag......and if there are not enough mixed metaphors to be going on with....try he who laughs last laughs alone! April cometh......but so does the ides of March. tectak
I find myself becoming embarrassed by my own intransigence. I am holding on to these shares even though the constant deathly silence is at once irritating and increasingly boring. I have NEVER seen a scenario like this. I am beginning to feel that we should all stop observing this share as quantum mechanics seems to have taken over. We can tell what its value is but cannot predict it....we can see where it is but don't know where its going. I am quite literally entering a "past caring" mode. It is not as if the shareholders have been anything but supportive of this apparently very "nice" company, but how long, dear Lord, how long? I shall be writing to Steven Hawkings for his opinion. tectak
No....I don't tink so. I have to admit I am under pressure from my group to explain and explain again why we are just not seeing the figures fit the fortunes of the investors. We came late to the last heady rising and as always with this share a heavy investment seemed to "cause" a fall in share value/. No one can adequately explain why this is and poor rocketred2 (american?) is doing it all alone.....talk about share flotation, RR2 is the original flotation collar. Nonetheless.....risky though this is....the figures CANNOT work in reverse. Sooner or later the "good" news MUST translate into share value.....so if RR2 is ramping, KEEP DOING IT!!!!
warrenbuffet is a nom de plume for not Warren Buffet......but who is he? Or more to the point....why my 72nd birthday? Do I know you?
Forget the companies......just buy a chunk of Texas.
It would not be the first time that a CEO or EO has cynically er...shall we say....modified the responsibilities of his directorship (s) to make certail favour of one over the other.....SIT takes in the investment, UPC soaks it up. What is the exchange rate GBP/USD at the moment???????
Gator/Rocketred2....been on holiday on sell proceeds? Welcome back. Are these damned shares anchored down by some devious, incalculably large plot. We seem to be swimming in glue. What is the sticking point?
What's the technological difference between SIT and PFLM?
Buy on rumour sell on fact comes to mind. Theres a lot of surfing going on but where's the big wave. I think weve got to be out there to catch this one. I'm betting the results will negatively modify the share price as small investors jump the gun, to mix metaphors. I'm for consolidation as the good news just keeps on coming! 138? I'm putting a stop on 150!
Tesco marches on. I would vote for the Tesco Political Party if they put up a candidate..... but how does the expansion commitment in the US correlate with the incorporation of SIT's product? Any corporate plans made public on this subject? i am into SIT for the medium term but I confess I am getting excited.
