I see this as good news in light of PHE putting their name to a report on LFD with such powerful diagnostic performances. Couple that with the desire of UK gov to buy British i think we can expect to see a transition to local manufacture in the near future so long as comparable performance is achieved.

I will have to read that. Interested to see what test they used as the diagnostic reference method considering they are now (rightly) questioning the diagnostic performance of PCR in terms of false positives

ODX are also hyper aware that they are a traders paradise of a share at the moment. Obviously what im saying cannot be proven but i wonder whether there is an element of protecting shareholders from huge spikes. If we remember they issued a speeding ticket when the SP spiked on the back of a sky news interview and shortly afterwards there was an announcement of the placing at 40p . Without the speeding ticket there was potential for huge losses on announcement of that placing.

Even if you believe the PR is poor at ODX you have to ask yourself do i think that contracts and numbers will eventually be in place which will shoot this companies value up? I do think that so tbh im not bothered if the SP is higher today or higher in a few months.

Bushmaster my dad used to live in benalmadena and operated a business out of the puerto there. I saw many many interesting sights in my visits there! What a hotbed of criminals from everywhere in the world.

Fourfigures depends upon your personality type i suppose. I prefer to be around people zoom just isnt the same. I also have a job that requires a lot of collaboration and i didnt realise the value of just being able to wander down the office for a chat until now.

As per Abingdons RNS today it looks like technical transfer of the AVCT test has not started to their manufacturing partners. A process that takes 2 months at a push.

With regards to the original post this is why most scientists in the space prefer either the statistical measures of Positive and negative percent agreement or the 95% confidence intervals around stated values for sensitivity and specificity. Both of those measures take into account sample size and so are very detrimentally affected by a small study number. In fact if i remember correctly the TPP for LFTs actually states a minimum 95%CI lower boundary target to be met rather than up front values.

Sorry to the BRH holders i dont get why AVCT is always ramped here its a different product with a different intended use. I just prefer to lay out the facts when i see them.
