strange that I originate from the south now living in Warrington, and the only person I can remember using "Treacle" is a Manc.

I'm guessing Dunnett is from the Manchester area, "Treacle" an affectionate term used for friends as far as I know!

welcome to EUA, I am also down £8k on VAL(****e management) Put plenty in here and you will recover your losses 10 fold over, I'm up by £130k at the moment, but not selling till the big rns!

coudn't believe my luck today, with sp jumping up and down all last week I decided to jump on the 10% bandwagon! Cashed in a poorly performing fund (made £1200 in year) and bought £10K worth of EUA at 17.1p with intention of selling at 20p in the afternoon, then rebuying following morning when sp drops. As luck would have it just before market close at 4.30pm sp dropped to 19p and I didn't sell! Keeping all now for big sale!!

as a long term holder in VAL, several times I warned about investing in this rip off company! my break even is £4.08! hope to cover that with fantastic return here with EUA

about 750,000 for me, was retired last year at 63 due to collapse of Thomas cook! most will go to kids as I don't really need much, only promise made to myself is if over £1 I will get mercedes sl500, not new maybe 18 months old(somebody else can take the 30% loss when it left showroom)
