CHP Keep waiting a little longer! Chaco Resources PLC 15 March 2006 CHACO RESOURCES PLC ('the Company') 15th March 2006 AIM: CHP Interim Announcement re Primavera The Company has been advised that the National Hydrocarbons Agency of Colombia (ANH) will not be in a position to issue a formal notification on the outcome of the Primavera application until after next week's ANH board meeting. The Company anticipates that notification will be received by the end of the month.
CHP my answer is 1.c or 25P (just a dream maybe) If is true I will let you all hear a little song tomorrow.
Still here although some movement today.
Stupid question - Is this as it expected to be and what we are waiting for?
I am already out m8, couldnt take the stress.
In general this is a really good and useful site. Most of the postings are from people trying to help each other not take cheap snipes. I have also signed on at ADVFN - I didnt like it or the atmosphire and tone of the posts. C**P is my thought. Just dont go calling me sensible.
CHP must be a Late eh! (latte). Lets hope it is black and flowing from an endless cup at a great rate.
CHP I think it was supposed to be by the 15th???
I wish he would put his cigar away and get his pen out!
EME - I did notice but just got VERRRRRY depressed at the thought of 23 weeks.
FAO I had to buy some and will try very hard to hol for a while. I have noticed that oilbarrel articles are interesting but seem not to effect share prices at all? Strange eh?
I bought after RNS but after no movement at all and itchy feet I sold and put money into EME - Good Luck to you if you are more patient and still holding.
CHP I have bought more of both EME and CHP today and although i find it hard - all this waiting- i feel safer with these and VOG than RPT even if it is a good punt. Sound positve (your Call) fingers crossed.
I have no knowledge about this stock - but know from the trade and a former employee that this is a crap company, with lots of problems. I would not touch them with someone else's bargepole let alone their marchpole! DYOR
Seems like the sort of info on oil barrel that will not immediately set alight the market - but shares for the longer term (hopefully).
What do you think?? They also have AGM tomorrow
FAO FirstAfrica Finds Oil Column In Gabon But Investors Await News Of Financing Results, albeit incomplete, are in from FirstAfrica Oil’s first well on the East Orovinyare oilfield offshore Gabon and the preliminary news looks positive for the cash-strapped AIM-quoted oil firm. The EOV-4 appraisal was targeting the eastern flank of the East Orovinyare structure and encountered a larger than expected oil column (165 ft against the forecast 128 ft) in the Batanga Sandstone reservoir. The well also found unexpected oil shows in the deeper Anguille Formation, which will require further testing. A drill stem test recovered light oil (37.5 degree API) from the Batanga but mechanical difficulties impeded an oil flow test. Without the reassurance of a flowrate, to give some indication of reservoir performance, investors are unlikely to get over-excited about the EOV-4 well result: recent events will have left many cautious about AIM-quoted companies and their West African E&P projects. Even so, this looks like good news for FirstAfrica. It has suspended the well (the rig has moved onto another contract) and will now analyse the downhole results and recovered samples. Preliminary results certainly do not appear to conflict with its plans to proceed with development drilling in April, when the Adriatic VI jack-up is due to arrive on the EOV field for a hundred day, three-well contract. The aim here is to achieve first oil before year-end. This is ambitious stuf
RDS by the way Cod Liver oil capsules are not as good. Many studies have now been done on Omega3 oils and their benefits for mental and physical health not only in adults but also in children with learning difficulties. DYOR !!!
RDS seems to me you are bright enough on your 5 meals of fish a week. and dont need supplements. I was only speaking for myself and any other possibly burnt out people who could benefit. lol
CHP Part 2 of write up from todays Oil Barrel Elsewhere in Colombia, Chaco is set to earn a 54 per cent interest in the Puerto Lopez Oeste exploration and production by spending just over US$1 million on seismic work during the first year. This block lies in the well-established Llanos Basin to the east of Bogota. The objective here is to find a "look-alike" structure to the 10 million barrel Valdivia oilfield which lies immediately to the south and is currently producing over 3,000 barrels a day. The 2006 work programme will involve the re-interpretation of existing seismic to high grade areas in which to shoot 100 km of new infill seismic to define possible Valdivia look-alikes. Chaco is keen to add to its holdings in Colombia, where it has an application outstanding for the Primavera Block in the Llanos Basin. This block was unsuccessfully explored in the 1980s, with a number of wells finding oil shows in the Mirador Sandstone, the main producing formation in the Llanos. Despite its inauspicious exploration history, Chaco believes there is plenty of scope to make commercial finds in the block. The work commitment attached to the Primavera application comes in at US$1.25 million. This low cost entry barrier is one reason why Chaco is so keen to pick up more acreage in Colombia. Its enthusiasm for the country has also been stimulated by government plans to cut by one-third the rate of corporation tax from 38.5 per cent to 28.5 per cent. It is this kind of
