That article says it all. Geology doesn't know borders. Copper is on fire and has structural deficits that will support much higher prices in the coming years.

OMI has the potential of El Pantano and El Cedro in Columbia is seen as a potential huge copper gold system.

So bullish😁

Mark729Watching that Zurich presentation makes me all happy and fuzzy. Did another little top up. Pepas small mine is enough to justify the share price. I'd say not enough alone. As imo the gold price will be 5k before production starts.

But to get El Cedro, El Pantano, Apta and Pepas North/Feeder zone for free🤦😂💪

This is significantly before the El Pantano drill and therefore bullish optimism IMO 😁

Like I've said many times the reasons why the directors never brought shares in placings or the open market is because they have millions of free options. Now they have exercised some of them. So do they now have skin in the game? Even it was for free?

That post about El Cedro is lovely. Going to drill it ourselves first. Makes perfect sense to drill first and see what's there before looking for a JV. I'm very confident they will hit big numbers.

Knew they would upside. Demand is too strong not to. Ultimately this will be multiples of 20p this year alone. Extra rig now. Hit at El Pantano, hit at Pepas North, JV of El Cedro, MRE on Pepas all before year end🤯

So a common way of raising funds in Canada. Has happened in 4 of my other stocks in the last 2 weeks is something called Life placing. A brought deal. This is when shares are sold at a price to a broker. Often Red cloud in Canada. Who will then sell those shares onto the market to meet demand.

This puts a massive break on share prices as they have to churn through millions of buys before the supply is exhausted and can move up.

And they always come with extra warrants!

This is not the case with this deal.

Hence why imo the share price will now march on up.

Because the money is now in the kitty for more drilling expansion. And you either buy at market, or you can't get in.

It's a big show of strength this raise. But I'd still have preferred it after El Pantano drilling😂

CEO have to be more pragmatic and take the money

The other big positive is the buyers of this placing will be looking for profit long term. Not quick buck. This is a buy and hold for them. Plus no warrants to sell into the market for a quick buck.

And most importantly no LIFE placing which kills the share price dead until the shares are churned through.

This is a straight forward sell shares to pick pockets to let them in

Without a shadow of a doubt it will be fully subscribed. And the potential extra that has been alloted. All the other mining shares have actually come back to market increasing the offer because of demand.

I hope Omi don't. As £10 million on top on 2.7 they already have is plenty for this and next year

I am not happy at the dilution. But it's happened in every mining share I own. They have been starved of funds and are filling the kitty while they can.

Like I said yesterday though, this bull market has years to run.

I've just topped up at 21p, because a penny or two will make no difference to where this share is going.

Let's see a second rig with this money.

Now we can go to end of 26 near production with no more fund raising. And then it is over for good once Pepas Is in action.
