Roundtable Discussion; The Future of Mineral Sands. Watch the video here.
My only gripe with CK is in relation to the Gov contract RNS wording. It should/could have been a transformational day for the company and shareholders. Without the negativity in the wording, at worst i believe we'd have seen a new ATH for the share price. However, that is not to say we wouldn't have dropped back to these levels anyway.
Need further news now to get this going again
AND capacity for antibody test production to meet demand......and we’ll sell the lot!!
This is even bigger than I imagined.
Is it beyond the realms of possibility that the Gov have been informed that the tests have been approved for home use, but this has not been officially conveyed to consortium yet? Enables Gov to plan knowing the tests are available, alllows them to give a ‘suggestion’ to consortium that the tests will be required, but importantly means it doesn’t have to be RNS’d therefore not becoming public knowledge and avoiding general outcry for available tests from public and the ensuing breaking of lockdown rules that would no doubt follow if joe public becomes aware they have antibodies in their system
How impartial do we think the MHRA is? Discussions regarding their approval of any potential vaccine over the last few days has suggested that they wouldn't take long to carry out their checks (talk of roll out if approved by December)
however we've been waiting months....i guess my question is, is it something other than the MHRA holding this back?....ie can they be influenced by government? My feeling is it wouldn't help the government at present to have at home self-administered tests available to anyone who wants them, and therefore large amounts of the population potentially knowing they don't have the virus and wanting to go about their normal lives.
if this is the case, which i'm increasingly feeling it could be, i think the best we could hope for is the MHRA approval comes further down the line once the majority of testing has been done via other channels.
any thoughts welcome...
The share price would look very different now, and i think this RNS would have been received differently had the Cobre major client paid up.
I see this RNS as a positive after a lot of negativity as it shows there is a new plan moving forward and the numbers suggest LC can be a success. Ideally over time it will produce sufficient to move Redmoor forward.
I recognise that sentiment counts for a lot and particularly on AIM, but have the fundamentals really changed that much? Now a 50% drop in SP since the raise was announced. We were already aware of the Cobre main client issues prior to this. Tough seeing red day after red day all the while waiting for news......
I've been holding these since about 0.45p days but bought in to some of the rise and now find myself underwater for the first time in a long while. I see the arrival or otherwise of the £4mil as the only thing that could get this moving in the short term. Whilst LC and Redmoor may well progress, its going to take cash to do so and the market won't like this given how tight current cashflow is.
In respect of the £4mil im completely torn - on the one hand there was the written agreement from the client to pay not long ago which would suggest something has had to change for them since then for them to no longer require our produce. Also why commit to it to change your mind so quickly? Finally there is also the fact that JP has not pushed for any legal action as yet which would be the obvious move if the deal is completely dead.
However on the other hand to me a relationship has broken down if you are publicly threatening legal action? I dunno!!
Hopefully we'll see a resolve soon or at least an idea of what the future entails. Good luck to all the LTHs.
