Agreed Antelope. Nothing Al has said or done so far gives me sufficient confidence that this isn't a straightforward stich up, which pretty much any outcome except what Rhodi suggests will be.
Great news. I would like to have more information about what their analysis showed. How large are these potential fields. Was the analysis above expectations. Maybe that's getting ahead of ourselves... Need to actually prove we can get gas to flow this time. I wonder if they'll RNS Sabria? They seemed strangely reluctant to on one of the last calls, but surely it is price sensitive info.
rhodi how does it make sense for Tern shareholders? Like said on other board. If DA is worth 1 billion, why are we giving away 20% of Tern, equating to a loss of 100 million when we sell DA, for something worth possibly 10-20 million?
On the face of it there's no reason to delist. However poor operationally the last 12 months have been, the fact remains they have 45% of an outstanding asset in Tunisia, plus 100% of a very good area in Romania, and other areas in Tunisia with excellent potential. There's no reason why they can't convert this to a highly profitable business, with the O&G prices I expect for many years. The SP will turn quickly if they get new wells online.
Last meaningful output increase was very start of last year. Smacks of terrible planning. Compressers a waste of money it seems. 600 bpd from 4 wells. Would have been better off re-trying Sancrai. Or better yet do the seismic analysis last year and optimized targets. Instead we got rapidly shrinking reserves at a time of record O&G prices. Really great jobs. I pray these next wells work in both countries. Tunisia pump due Q4 last year. Q2 now and waiting. Frankly a joke.
Thanks for the summary, but I think they're answers are quite poor, and it looks like someone's had enough. They are highly intelligent but don't understand about the process of releasing news -> gaining higher SP -> less dilutive funding? That seems pretty incredible. They're not telling a story and outside of a small loyal group, understandably nobody is buying into one that we have to construct ourselves.
Feelin quite gloomy with my 14p average. Sounds like the company is doing well, but sentiment is in the gutter due to poor managment. I would accept a T/O at 16p. Is that too hopeful?
Just shows again you can't rely on anything said privately to PI's. I don't doubt you were told that Obelix. Do you feel somewhat let-down? I'm invested here for the long-term, but I think we all have to admit that RNS is effectively a can-kicker with a predictable reaction.
