I would love to chat with you more, but the fact that I've been oot on the lash tonight, and I have a long drive tomorrow means I cannot. I have worked worked (directly) with all the major housebuilders, in fact the reason for tonights p1ss up was me old mates at Barratt, and all report good new sales. I worked for Persimmon for two years, and frankly I would say that they are the top volume builder in the UK, they tan the erse of Barratt and TW, and I have worked for both. GL with your investment, I would say it is sound. Don't let those doom and gloom mongers get us down!!

Is there a likelihood that these will drop to 10p? I intend to buy more but would be gutted if I got in too high.

How soon could we expect news on D2 insurance? I have not lost interest in these.

Cash only, best way isn't it!! TXR - well there's a story, bought in @ 4.5p, saw my small investment deplete, got cold feet and bailed out, and into AV, maybe a mistake, but that's my decision. As for Scott Wilson, well I work in Construction and with the global decline in investment in construction projects, I cannot see the appeal of an Engineering Design group, at least not until the world economies start to recover. As I say you seem to have an eye for the good ones, so I may be completely wrong. ATB

The plan is hold AV until 24th, get the divi and pile into HRG. I am becoming very disciplined and not investing any more of my own cash into shares, so have to deal with the funds I have already invested. If new breaks on HRG before that I have to live with it, I'm a small time investor with limited resources and no desire to overstretch. And before you ask, I don't have a credit account, it's cash up front, and that's the way I prefer it. Have been following your posts across the board and must admit you seem to have an eye for the good ones.

Twas an interesting day on the market, all my portfolio shares went down, except VGM, praise be to the Lord of Vatukoala, he must have cursed the MM's today.
