Where Oman’s Oil Production Is Exported From
📍 Mina Al Fahal — Main Crude Export Terminal
• This is Oman’s principal crude oil export facility, located on the Gulf coast just east of Muscat in the Muscat Governorate.
• Most onshore oil production across Oman — including centrally located oilfields and those connected to the national pipeline system — is transported via pipelines to Mina Al Fahal and loaded onto tankers here.
• The facility has large storage tanks and two subsea Single Buoy Moorings (SBMs) used to load crude oil onto very large crude carriers (VLCCs) and similar vessels.
How it works
• Oil from inland blocks like Blocks 3 & 4, Block 9 and other onshore fields is processed and moved through the PDO Main Oil Line and connecting pipelines.
• This pipeline network converges and feeds into the export terminal at Mina Al Fahal.
Our export is route is far away from the strait of hormuz, approx 200miles. Our oil will be in high demand and at premium in coming weeks and months!
