Rainbow Rare Earths Phalaborwa project shaping up to be one of the lowest cost producers globally. Watch the video here.
Thanks @AIM for your detail summary.
I think a few of us that have come across you before elsewhere appreciate your analysis and straightforward way of expressing it.
As said the other day. I continue to gradually take advantage of the selling here, warrents or no news, or otherwise.
Added another 265k here today, though due to the price MMs were offering on the BID at the time it recorded as a sell.
Takes me to 0.56% of this one at just over 3Mill @4.23p
I suspect that's peanuts compared to a few LTH here, but it's giving me time to build and average down as I personally do like the prospects here come next year onwards.
Time will tell. But just to say thanks again for your always no nonsense interjections. One can agree or disagree. But you always provide food for thought mate....
Cheers
On all the bb's I invest in and post on NW.... There are always people like you my friend. Your hardly unique.
But as tbh, I invest, and rarely trade. The 3.5p or 4.29p ( my current average for 0.51% of this company).... matters less to me frankly than building a position and seeing how it plays out 6,12 or 18 months down the line.
This is a smaller part of my PF so far, but I may very well grow it. It's one that I hope to see pro rata strong profit in from those timescales.
I can't work out your strategy, but as before, suspect you are a trader & looking for a lower entry and a fast buck....
That's fine by me. Enjoy your profit when it comes...
But forgive me if I go longer will you?
Regards.
To a strong RNS, but the news is nicely setting the scene going forwards.
I wonder if the placing shares were in trading hands then? Get em at 26p odd. Sell on this RNS mid 32s....
That's a tidy 25% profit.... More than enough on AIM for the "day" boys - so the notorious in out and move on market strikes again perhaps.
Personally I would like the price higher on the establishment of these very decent foundations. But in truth this share, since it's rise 30p equiv to 60p and back down, and up and down has been an AIM traders magnet. We can all see that from the rampers and de-rampers that regularly appear even here to talk it up or down as they need.
It will take a while, and several strong updates to break that IMO. But this is a good start & nonetheless, am encouraged by the news, if not quite the immediate SP reaction.
Cheers.
Hi @Juxt.
I agree. I don't know the full history of this individual. Other than he seems to have been a real large player and with warrents a plenty he still appears to be washing them through. Almost not caring about his exit price, or so it seems? Assume therfore he's got many millions at 2p or so and needs the monies elsewhere.
Anyhow, as in my post earlier. I continue to accept some of his shares. Have added 300k more this morning to further AVG down today and take my holding to 0.51% of the company. It seems that without him selling (so far) the big 500k chunks as per he did yesterday. That around 3.51p odd is a bit of a bottom to buy at, for now at least.
That's an attractive buy price in my book from my limited experience on this one. But then I tend to look at this as a 12 month review point from here. Then assess where we are. By then I hope to have seen the end of our chum and so shares harder to come by etc....
Regards
Maybe I have then judged this share over optimistically?
But I have taken the approach of gradually buying in. First anything under 5p, now under 4s in the last 3 months or so.
Seems that whilst there is radio silence in a prolonged way historically, and also that the big 2,3,even 5 hundred K lump seller is sadly far from out, as some had hoped for a while ago(?).
That nonetheless, a combination of the above gives plenty of opportunity to continue to build up a stake and/or add if the overall fundimentals seem promising still here.
I am underwater with all the falls granted. Holding now 2.45 Mill @4.38 AVG, but continued to still add averaging progressively down on more selling weakness. As I do tbh still see this moving on news. Maybe that is then overly optimistic?
But strikes me that with the relatively small free float ( if and when the big seller is finally done). That a few pence on the price ( and longer term considerably more) seems to me potentially very achievable on a decent RNS or two from here especially.
Just my thoughts here, be interested in others views of course. As said maybe I have it wrong, and do understand the LTHs frustration of course. But as always on AIM seems a bit of positive sentiment is needed via some decent Comms?
Regards.
Appalling , sorry typo.
Hi Jet.
Personally I think the actions of Russia are appealing. But as per the quote. We all know it's the innocents who mostly suffer. Doesn't need endless discussion on an insignificant BB.
If you are brave enough. Go pick up weapon and stand a post out there. Those that are don't waffle on about it on pointless share bb's far from the action.
Talk about GGP if there is something to say by all means. If there is nothing to say, stay quiet, which is the approach I mostly take on this share tbh.
"War is all hell. It is only those who have neither fired a shot nor heard the shrieks and groans of the wounded, who cry aloud for blood, more vengeance, more desolation."
William Tecumseh Sherman.
And unlike most of the commentators that man withstood and inflicted plenty in his time. He knew what he was talking about IMO.
Interesting view MrFibs.
With the SP wallowing around 6p. A couple or more major players in at 7s though...
So your thinking what, that one might try and take a large buyout byte around what..... XXp ?
Or maybe that an even bigger fish will shortly be trying to swallow the Minnows (us), and the Sprats ( current suitors) whole...?
I do agree that the depressed, and for many depressing price and Mgmt action over the last 3 months may lead some to think a buyout at some level is being worked. But it's all just speculation until someone raises their head.
Or it could just be a combination of the post deal blues, a depressed market, and in general the AIM traders seeing no immediate returns..... So ttfn from them.
That's the beauty of the AIM lottery. Stick all, twist all, or play a trade pot n hold a core. We all have those type of choices I guess.
Personally love to see where this is by year end and be able to act accordingly now. But haven't the crystal ball sadly. So decided to try hold a good sized core and fiddle other monies elsewhere for now.
Only time will tell if that's anything like a sensible call or a lemon strategy?
Regards.
Picked....
If you were brought up following the original punk bands around. You would maybe have come across the inimitable "Bard of Salford"?
Mr John Cooper Clarke.
He had a classic put down line I seem to recall that was used on the offensive barracking types.
Seems appropriate here also for our irritating green box agenda driven friend....
John would calmly explain....
" I can't hear you mate, your mouths too full of s*it !!!"....
Seems some 40 years on still somehow very appropriate....
Have a good evening.
Joins Moon, dgr123, help and Alf in the bin....
1 million shares..... And clueless.... no kidding.
I dispair of these frankly f**kwits ....
.... an admitted lull, but this is something we are all fully aware of, and indeed most of us are quite honest enough to acknowledge.
Seems though from the responses, and the repeat green boxes I can see. That our past trading de-ramper chum is revelling in it all again...
I filtered that one some time back personally.
He was clever, but fully transparent even then, & as I think Slurms also already said today it continues I assume.
Ask yourself one question on him....
If he's not invested, and thinks so very poorly of the share..
Then WHY, but why does he waste so much time on this BB talking it down....
He was a trader by admission then, and if this one really has no future. Then, & as time is clearly money to those guys.......would he really still be posting here multiple times daily wasting his time and therefore money without a clear agenda....?
Answer that simple question, and you will understand why some of us have no interest in reading his attempts to spread further doubt simply to facilitate his clear design to induce selling & to re enable his entry.
Adds nothing, filter or ignore is my advice.
Regards.
Good post @Harkin.
There is a lot of truth in those comments IMO. But having said that, I would add that almost every AIM BB I follow has similar comments about.... "The BOD has lousey Comms, and never keeps us PIs up to date".... It's a reoccurring gripe on all shares of this type, as we all know.
Is it any worse here than elsewhere....? Not so sure really, as when the SP was ascending generally from 2-3p up to its 10p heights most of us were content to gloss over it and had less to complain about on the slow interactions. It's always on the falling or stagnant share situations that these comments are rife strikes me.
I do agree though that it's time the BOD took some actions here. It's too easy for them to sit back, claim they have done the hard job aquiring the monies (whatever the cost ), and leave a floundering SP to do for now what it's done.
That's not really being "responsible" to all the share holders. Which is supposedly one of their prime roles...
I also think now though that they probably care little frankly if relatively LTH PIs are gradually exiting in frustration though. They have some big institutions on board now, and if the smaller holders loyalty is the price to pay.... So be it.....
As said before. My strategy is now to select a core holding number ( in my case 9 M). Bottom draw it, and with the rest, and all new funds look to other opportunities.
Loyalty works both ways; not that, as said, I am sure JM is now in the slightest worried by what we minnow's do.
I am going to switch off here until something material transpires. As frankly I think it's all been said here now, and it's just frustration going round in circles.
Everyone has to make their own call on the resourse we own IMO, and if it's worth holding on as a LTH. Or indeed if new buying in now at these prices.
My view is still yes and yes. But I am under no illusions, given the emphasis of the deal and its fallout that JM is in anyway now looking out for me and my personal interests.
Regards.
So..... Today changed tack.
Was adding under 5p. Today adding under 4p.
Thinking longer term. Suspect a growing 2Mill @ AVG 4.53 now will eventually come good?
If not, then so be it.....
Be nice to see some new comms from the company here though. Do agree
Regards.
That was my thought agree, TD2.
As said the other day, the market always has a way of being a step ahead on such things. But nothing happening so far?
I think it's grin n bear it for a bit. If your not selling your core holding. Then it's time for patience, and anyone invested here for any time is getting used to that...
Nonetheless. Be nice to get some updates on the build.... In whatever format.
Well Craig.
Though not a lot of the LTH's once hoped for end game.... With all the promise of the resources in the ground in say 3-4 years time...
An imminant but to date "Valed".... ( Pun kinda intended..) takeover.
Would for sure certainly in short order liven up the current SP death by a thousand cuts at least..... ;-)
Regards.
Not going to disagree that something may be going on. As many of us have said.... If not where by now is the news flow, Twitter etc.
But.... Having said all that. The SP has in no way reflected a potential bid. Quite the opposite. Really floundered since Finance agreed.
Markets have a strange way of preempting something like a take over of couple of indemand tier 1 assets..... But to date not a hint in an rising price.....
You guys may be right. But so far the market sure as heck hasn't picked up on it if so.....?
Cheers.
Makes for more peace when catching up on sensible posters here to have last year green box both Uber rampers, and clear de-ramping trolls....
I never used to filter anyone on this BB. Not needed, since, & as ihowells said. Was a very happy and eclectic view based forum.
But since last year I do personally selectively filter 1 of the former type, and 2 of the latter here. Not regretting it.
As to HZM. Yep dead as far as SP for now. Needs some progressive news to clear the post finance hangover agree. Till then decided on holding a core here of 9 Mill @ 5.05 for the road ahead. I think it will turn out well. But no instant rerate IMO. More likely a gradual build.....
A bit like the ..... Gradual build ;-)
Regards.
Clearly that seller still firing off a number of 100k and 200k clips, rather monotonous. But as a result the MMs again selling to us below mid point tba. So, far from all red sells on LSE are sells at all...
Example. I have bought 150k more this morning. 115k of those around 4.235 odd. So under the mid point of 4.2-4.3 and recording as a sell on LSE therefore, when it's a buy. There are quite a few others.
Don't believe everything you read.
Cheers Wasa.
I am, as said, just gradually building here. Just under a couple of Million so far. Not going mad. But just diversifying a bit. Hold still about 1.65 M in GGP at low avg, having sold off most of my old holding end of 2020 climb.. Mainly still there with a small number as interested to see how the further uncovering of Haverion goes, and this year's MRE upgrades etc. Still like RMM. Still accumulating that strong grade Cu share on its many weaknesses. That one's got lots of potential IMO. Fiscally a bit up n down in terms of "interesting" management to put it mildly. But great resource, and I think my growing 750k plus shares there may be in a better state come 2023. HZM. One of your mutual interests frustrated me, and I think you with the dilution etc. But it's also a great resourse long term and now financially sound to boot I feel. I will hold a core in there of about 9 Mill+ for the long term (likely take out further down track I suspect?). Other than that on AIM, & like everyone I suspect I hold still a basket case share in ROCK. Punt to nothing, but no expectations there tbh so anything other than usual total "lifestyle" a bonus...
For a while on AIM held only GGP, and did fine. But over last 3 years diversifying as said, lesson learned from its meteoric up, then 50% crash so far.
Here though seems a nice sleeper is my main thought, so just dipping toe in as it continues to slumber on the seller and Zippo news for now...
Regards.
